This clip reminded me of how society doesn't have any grace towards single mothers, you're expected to carry the world on your back. But raising kids alone (let alone five) would be hard for anyone, people always say it takes a village to raise children but situations like this come up and all of sudden they forget that. Everyone took the older sister's word for everything, but when Taylor spoke for herself she acknowledged that she gets some help but not as often and frequent as her sister and mother is claiming. But Taylor's side was completely disregarded and mostly everyone (especially that one aggravating audience member who had all the audacity in the world to stand up and dare speak down on a person she doesn't know) took the older sister's words as the absolute truth. But how could any of use do that when we're not there. I had 3 jobs with a son and no help but would always be told I choose to when we had bills to pay, needed food, and we weren't on public assistance. So I had to pay for my son's medical out pocket. They will never speak on the struggle. My mom and sister do this to me. There are other ways to deliver an important message to someone without using so much force , judgment, ect. We may not understand. This clip reminded me of how society doesn't have any grace towards single mothers, you're expected to carry the world on your back. But raising kids alone (let alone five) would be hard for anyone, people always say it takes a village to raise children but situations like this come up and all of sudden they forget that. Everyone took the older sister's word for everything, but when Taylor spoke for herself she acknowledged that she gets some help but not as often and frequent as her sister and mother is claiming. But Taylor's side was completely disregarded and mostly everyone (especially that one aggravating audience member who had all the audacity in the world to stand up and dare speak down on a person she doesn't know) took the older sister's words as the absolute truth. But how could any of use do that when we're not there. It wasn't fair at all and I don't like how Karamo ended that segment with Taylor because if people were really using their eyes they would see the one biracial family member being ganged up and embarrassed by her very WHITE family members. Its very much giving scapegoat and black sheep of the family. But uses money as her best way to give back. She's used to disconnecting with drugs first and now uses other things to disconnect with. She probably feels trapped. She has to grow more. My mom and sister use to do this to me. They only half acknowledge what you do but they only acknowledge what you don't do or think you don't do. I had 3 jobs with a son and no help but would always be told I choose to when we had bills to pay, needed food, and we weren't on public assistance. So I had to pay for my son's medical out pocket. They will never speak on the struggle. My mom and sister do this to me. My mom would run and tell my sister anytime she had a problem with me but I would know about it until my sister trys to check me just to gang up on me.
