That's just straight up insane. I love Fami's technical style. It fits so well with M & M. The "Judgement Day" solo run is the best I've ever heard, ever. Fami's bass lines make it a triple solo run. The music video/studio makes it shine the most.
Alien Alien" is one of the Vocaloid songs using voice synthesis technology (VOCALOID) developed by YAMAHA. In Japan, songs using this Vocaloid technology have become so popular that they have become a genre, and new composers are being produced all the time. Although many Vocaloid songs are not intended to be sung by humans, groups and individuals have been creating cover songs for about 10 years, and some of these musicians, such as the Wagakki Band and Ado, have attracted worldwide attention.
Indeed! They also treat her so well, and have welcomed her with open arms like a little sister. Japanese female musicians seem to be the nicest people on the planet (i.e., LOVEBITES, BANDMAID, NEMOPHILA), and many others. I have spent a lot of time with YOYOKA, and she is another amazing young lady. Was voted one of the "Top 100 Most Respected Japanese in the World" at age 11 or 12. Any of the ladies mentioned above could easily be bestowed the same honor. Wonderful human beings, all of them!
Hey Dave.. Thanks for reacting to this little package of dynomite. Knew you would like it. And yes you handled it very well.. Best wishes to You in the States from France 👍🤘🇨🇵
An alien alien playing alien alien! She's not from this planet. I read Fami's name comes from her family's favorite store, FamilyMart, Japan's 2nd favorite convenience store. There's a great doc of how she got the job on Lovebites' channel I would've chosen Fami just for her smile. You can see the joy she has for playing! I imagine the director for Judgment Day always having to tell her to stop smiling for the MV.😂 As a fellow bass player..... Band Maid 'Hate?' official live You cam thank me later!😂🤘
FAMI comes from japanese pop and now she is a monster of metal! Maybe she is a bit more technical than Miho, but we can't forget that Miho composed some of the best and more loved songs of Lovebites: "Hammer of wrath", "Break the wall", "Thunder vengeance", etc... We will not forget her❤
2:42 "I'll never be a Fami." :D That is a sober self-evaluation, but also cordial and funny remark that earns you a thumbs-up. :) You are not the first to be all giddy and dumbfounded at once by Fami's feats! Can you imagine the feelings among the LOVEBITES fandom (AND the Famdom!), when it was announced that THIS ONE is the new bassist o the band?! It is like adding Godzilla to Superman, idk, or Batman to Batman, since there is no Robin among them!! An embarrassment of riches, and a sense of awe of what lies ahead. With Fami now in the line-up, and her varied and diverse influences, I would be perplexed if they did not dab in the Progressive style at least some in the close future! With Fami, M&M technical proficiency, and Haruna's ability to "give" the craziest beats and maintain any outlandish time signature, it seems a distinct possibility, and would earn another star to the LOVEBITES jacket! Yes, the one off their new EP cover. ;) There is some discussion going about Miho and Fami, and while each of them contribute to the style of the band in their own ways (Miho, the founder of LOVEBITES, left an indelible mark on their core sound, also through her compositions, still among the most popular in concert), I am in the camp that both are indispensable while different. Miho was more of a straight-up Heavy metaller, keeping the rumbling pulse, although many of her subtle runs are preserved in LOVEBITES' iconic songs, here's hope that as a bass player you are someone who will not let 'em pass! Fami is a ray of sunshine and a born performer who is only coming into her own, and can be counted for any surprise whenever she plugs her gear in. That she is still so young is scary, as the ceiling is nowhere in sight! I call her the "band's badass benjamin on bass", while LOVEBITES gently call her "Shining fingers". :)) They all have self-imposed nicknames, as you probably discovered, adding to their stage identities. Rock on!
When you have crazy talent (and everyone, including you, knows it), but you think to yourself you'd be even mightier with a solid musical foundation... especially with the music of LOVEBITES leaning so heavily on classic and Classical paragons.
In Frank Zappa's first album (Flex-able I think) there were a couple of songs of this type... I remember very well the initial absurd impact, then Steve Vai and Terry Bozzio started doing theirs... and the musical genre didn't count for anything anymore. Here it's the same thing, Fami can make even the tarantella spectacular.
Fami-chan started self-taught on the bass guitar at the age of 13, and posted this video in November at the age of 17.😲😱😅😆😍 It took him just four years to achieve this skill level.🤗 She had never practiced heavy metal music before auditioning for ❤LOVEBITES❤. However, her father loves heavy metal music so much that he even had his own band😈. So, heavy metal music was played in the home from a young age, but Fami herself says she had no interest in it. I think heavy metal music may have unconsciously accumulated in her brain as background music for Fami-chan.🤔🤗
Fami are born to play bass. She really loves the bass, and at only 17 years old, she has developed an evolution of the slap technique, Fami's original technique, which is already unintelligible to the uninitiated.
Fami from the grown up, her father give her name of group band to be heard and learn how to play. She defeated Aya in the selection, Aya was good bassist, let's check Stand and Deliver studio version, she's amazing. Carry on bro reacting Lovebites, or you can check when they're covered Paintkiller, Judas Priest

Yeah, she is something else. Regarding going back to Hammer of Wrath with Miho, I recommend doing the 2020 Five of a Kind version with The Awakening intro leading into H of W. It was the start of the awesome encore and with the crowd pumped. The Awakening/Hammer Of Wrath - ruclips.net/video/otJZPUCwyOM/видео.html
I'm no expert on this, but this is a little of what I have learned about this. "Alien Alien" is a one of a series of songs that were produced through the Vocaloid series. Vocaloid is a software program that synthesizes singing voices. The most well-known "singer" that I know of this is Hatsune Miku. Basically, this is an artificially created singer, but a little more elaborate than that, and I think it has a deliberate sound to it to help make it recognizable. I've never been to one, but the live concerts with Hatsune Miku look pretty amazing! example: ruclips.net/video/jhl5afLEKdo/видео.html
Thank you for this reaction. but please change your microphone settings. don't put auto voice detection, choose always active or push to talk. but auto detection is really not comfortable for listeners.
She was 17 when she did that. She's 21 now. Imagine what she'll be like at 30. I don't know what they're feeding Japanese girls these days, but whatever it is, it's working.
I’m not sure Fami is the one bassist to be introduced to anyone who aspired to learn or improve on the bass. Fami’s skill set on bass , shall we say ‘ Alien? ‘
Watch Japanese bassist JUNA SERITA(TOKYO GROOVE JYOSHI) do cover songs What Is Hip(Tower The Power), Play That Funky Music(Wild Cherry) ASTERISM songs Dawn, Rising Moon, Lights In The Darkness, Church, all songs with crazy guitar and 7string bass solos....

I second that 👍. Fami's basslines during M&M's solos in that song is the best i've heard in any LOVEBITES song ever.

I can't agree more! She fits so well with the band. The technic, sound, and tone she provides is fantastic! But that smile is captivating :)
Fami was 17 years old at the time.😮She was already a tremendous bassist.👍❤LOVEBITES❤ is a band made up of five superhuman.🦸♂️Or maybe goddesses.🪽
Lovebites recruiting Fami was a huge service to mankind as she was seriously contemplating quitting to play.

Still very impressive... every time!
In a recent (now deleted) post on X Fami, who I believe is self-taught, stated that she was going back to basics and having lessons on the bass.
That's true, I've found that post earlier (and said to myself: WHAAAT?) :D
