I had a fantastic time in Bosnia, such a special country, thanks to our exceptional tour guide Vekas from Bosnian Tours. He tailored the tour to match our preferences, and his commitment made sure we got the most out of our visit and the country, something that's not common among guides in Bosnia. We explored around 15 different locations in a short span of time. If you're thinking about your next vacation, I strongly suggest considering a trip to Bosnia.
We really liked Sarajevo. Especially the East meets West aspect as you mentioned. Plus the food was incredible. Unfortunately it was cold and snowy while we were there in February so we will have to visit again in the summer. Mostar in 2021 and perhaps 2020 is unique due to how empty the city is. Seeing the Stari Most with out people was unexpected.

If you are still in Bosnia, you should definitely visit the Sutjeska national park, with the last remaining “jungle” in Europe (Perućica). Also watch for the very beautiful Bijambare pećina cave!
Perućica is primary forest, virgin forest. Jungle is usully used for tropical forest and it refer to land overgrown with tangled vegetation at ground level.

Too bad you didn't mention the small forgotten town of Stolac, which has a beautiful medieval town on a hill, the Daorson archeological site where the walls are 3000 years old ... the beautiful banks of the river Bregava ... stone tombstones ...
I went to Stolac last summer and it was underwhelming. Don't get me wrong, all the things you mentioned are nice to see, but the town itself is ridden with trash and abandoned buildings. I think people in Stolac need to do much more to make their place pretty and accessible for tourism. Like, for example, the most important Bosnian heritage site - the Radimlja tombstones - are right next to a freaking car wreck disposal yard. The Stolac Bus station that is literally at the entrance of the town, looks like a post-apocalyptic site ridden with graffiti and trash. Etc etc... The only actually nice place is the little stream inside the old town but it's also ridden with cars and you can't enjoy it because of idiots with motorcycles making noise etc... Basically, it's an unregulated mess which can ALL be regulated and made amazing, if it weren't for people who just don't seem to care about their own town.
