Plus is rly clear that both of them are using autotune for this, I don't think its a bad thing tho. It fits the tone of the song but I do think they went overboard. Song is catchy but the vocals in this performance are mediocre af but they get away with it because of the vocal effects. The Kid Laroi can't even do the flicks into falsetto in the chorus they're from the backing track.

I hate mainstream music, but when this came on the radio I fell in love with it, it's so catchy, can you imagine my face when I realised it was Justin Bieber, guess I'm a fan now!
Adding the extra synths during Justin's part was an excellent idea. Compare it to the original. When Beiber says the lyrics "never left me empty handed" you can hear the new synths and they help amplify the melody and the song even better.
JB is that artist that people mock for being only popular because of the teen craze and media play, but the man is talented as FCK, a true performer, and so versatile in terms of music genres.
