WillyJ I really don't like this sentiment in all of their videos. Playing drums at this level is different from what his bandmates are doing. Melodic instruments requires a certain concentration to play. Rhythmic instruments, instead, require a certain level of Zen. You're less trying to remember that certain scale in time and more letting yourself go and dancing in a certain way behind tools. He isn't strung out. He's just super into the syncopation.
