I loved the Munsters, When I was a kid we lived at 1313 Marlborough Lane, and some of my parents friends would write Christmas cards with the correct zip code but would deliberately write our street name wrong and put 1313 Mockingbird Lane.
My husband and I are total “The Munsters” fans. :)
I did not realize they made so much merchandise for a show that only ran for two seasons. Nice collection. Nice video.
I've got to dig up (pun) my photos of yours truly standing next to The Munster Koach. George Barris' cool ghoulmobile was at a car show in Cleveland, OH (circa 1964). I dug The Koach and Drag-u-la so much that I went to my local camera/hobby shop and bought 2 model kits of each car. Thank you, George Barris and AMT! I'd like to dedicate this video to my grandmother, who was from Transylvania (for real). My grandma, mom, dad, siblings, and I used to watch "The Munsters" (a lot!) when it originally aired on CBS. Herman is a great dad who drives a really boss car! So does Grandpa! Thank you, grimmlifecollective for putting together this great nostalgic video!

I will say that is a very complete collection as far as things from the sets, reels and not just retail memorabilia it is most impressive

It was neat to see my old neighborhood where I just lived a few houses up . The owner of these collections , Also owns the Casket car used in the movie Munster's go home .Also If i remember this person paid for the funeral of the actress who played Lilly Munster Actress Yvonne De Carlo'. I will not disclose the Location or neighborhood of where these collections are housed . I also know the Owner at one time was the president of the Munsters Fan Club. I grew up as a child in the 60's and loved The Munsters. I have met Pat Priest as well as Butch Patrick . and have their autographs . They also Autographed photos for one of my former unit Hospital long term units which was filled with Hollywood autographed Photos here in Pittsburgh . Awesome Video guys . it's an era we can not go back to . Yet this sitcom has also become a cult classic .

I love The Munsters! I have the series and movies on DVD. Met Butch Patrick in Fairborn, Ohio back in October 2018. He autographed the DVD set for me and I had my picture taken with him. Really great guy!

I'm surprised Jessica didn't say she'd want the Lily costume. I don't have much in the way of Munsters merchandise aside from the tv show on dvd and articles inside of Famous Monsters magazine. What I do have is a to scale prop replica of Eddie's Woof Woof doll. He comes inside a coffin shaped box and is dressed in his bed robe. There is another version of Woof Woof that comes in his pajamas. The dolls were limited to 5000 pieces world wide. At the time I bought Woof Woof I thought $75 for him was expensive until you look at asking rates now ($200 - 300).
I have the honor of knowing Butch and his wife Leila, and I have been blessed with some rare stuff from Butch.
There were two Eddies.one for the pilot and Butch Patrick.
Thank You, Thank You, Thank You! The Munsters is such a treat for the whole family! I was just missing it and about to dig out my DVDs. The Munsters is a timeless classic. I love the Fergosi emerald episode and of course Herman's driving test. Thanks for sharing!

The Munsters slot machine is my absolute favourite to play. Sadly, it’s becoming harder and harder to find. Some of the older casinos in Vegas still have it.
Loved the Munsters as a kid. One Christmas back in 1966 my folks had given me a toy, hand "crank-style" projector with a built in silent, black and white motion picture reel that can be viewed off a blank wall. I played it over and over again. I didn't see Eddie's Woof Woof wolfie doll on display in the collection tho. P.S. You guys are an adorable couple. Thanks for posting. It was a real treat.

The Munsters are my favorite TV show and Grandpa and Herman are my favorite characters! Actually they were all perfect for their roles, their storylines never duplicated themselves, the sets and atmosphere were phenomenal. Last year I finally realized that they over painted Grandpa's nostrils to make them appear to be flaring. Thanks for this wonderful tour!
I'm 25 and a big Munsters fan. My grandparents got me hooked watching reruns on Tv land when I was little. I have had a die cast model of the Munsters Koach for years

I remember that on a detail for Black & White tv shows that they had to tint the color to make it LOOK correctly for black & white, before the technicolor change.

I’m sure I saw this collection in an episode of “Toy Hunter” and the collector was a nice guy who really had a connection to “the Munsters” as a child. I read down a couple of comments and saw that someone posted that he passed away. That’s very sad...even more sad is the fact that they are auctioning away his collection. Too bad no one in his family wanted to preserve this collection in his memory. It’s not for me to say but most passionate collectors dream about keeping their collection intact when they pass. Still it’s nice to see that many people appreciate his collection.

As a video collector, the 16mm film reels are the most impressive to me.
The Munsters are on every night 7-8:00pm. Two back to back episodes on Cozi tv. Watch it every night. Hard to believe there were only 2 seasons. Love the collection.

My father bought a model at the dime store one day in mid 1960 s he painted parts of it a glued it together I watched I was about 5 yrs old he gave it to me It's Frankenstein walking on his grave w headstone it's the oldest thing I own from my father a I still have it (mint cond) my mother thought it would scare me a wanted to throw it away but I said no ( first time I said no to my mother I think) I love it! He passed in 03 a when I look at it I cry! Its my most prized possession 55 or so yrs old. I wonder if the collector has one of these models.? Enjoyed this! memories!

Fred Gwynne was great in the Munsters but I really loved his performance in "My Cousin Vinny".

Unfortunately the merchandise didn't manifest itself in the UK. Next to the Adams family they where the best, all my favourite monsters as a typical family. Great video guys....

whoever loves The Munsters have to make to Universal choices one they can exist in animated movie of either dreamworks animation or illumination.
FUNNY STORY: When Fred Gwynn was on the Howard Stern show to promote My Cousin Vinny ; Howard was INSTRUCTED to "Not talk about the Munsters". (WTF?) . So of course, old school Howard ; asks a Munsters question! Fred Gwynn was all "Now, now Howard; you know we were not supposed to speak about that for this interview ..." . Next day , Howard and Robin were discussing the interview ; Howard goes "I felt like I was Eddie Munster and I just did something wrong-- and Herman was scolding me on the show". LOL !!
