Remember, every great athlete has faced challenges and defeats; it's part of what makes their story so inspiring. Leonard's career is a testament to skill, determination, and the spirit of sportsmanship. It's amazing how much we can learn from examining both the victories and the setbacks of legendary figures in sports! 🥊🌟
I love watching him get knocked on his ass 😂😂😂😂
Give the man some respect, he was one of the greatest of all time. He was old and washed up when he boxed Norris and Camacho.
Leonard accidentally hitting the ref while the guy was getting Norris off his back as the round ended will always be funny.
Sugar RL ' king of the king Boxing❤
☝️👍
Three best nights of boxing ever!!!😎
7:56 HE THINKS HE'S WON IT! he did.
I don't get they compare him with Duran . Mano has 119 fights , how many times did Ray fight ?
should have added the HAGLER fight, because LEONARD should have lost.
LOL I just came to type exactly that. Hagler beat Leonard. Hagler got robbed.
Definitely especially in the rematch with Thomas Hearns
Yeah. I mean... yeah
I always felt Ray intentionally ducked Hagler in his prime, waited for him to rust a little, then agree to a fight. Also felt Hagler won that fight.
@@theoddfather8782 He was scared shitless of Aaron Pryor. Butch Lewis even said it Ray Leonard moved up in weight class to get away from Aaron Pryor. Rumor had it that he even ducked Julio Cesar Chavez. So in conclusion Ray Leonard 🖕🖕🖕🖕
FIGHTERS NOWADAYS ARE RUNNERS. BACK THEN IT WAS POUND FOR POUND
lenord was past it in last two.him hagler .duran were the three best off all boxers in their day
Yes sir,I totally agree with you on that, but he made Duran say no mas on his rematch with duran.good old days.peace be with you brother.
Leonard Hearns II is missing :-)
15:11 OOPS! There it is. All the dodging in the world won't let you be undefeated. Someone took Leonard's boxing and copied it and added running and dodging to the max and managed to sneak out wins and pretend to be a great fighter. haha But in this era, boxers FOUGHT and dodging was only a small part of the whole.
I love how Norris gave him a beating. Punished him. Yes!! Eat it, Leonard
I really enjoyed leonard going down
Give the man some respect and stop hating on Leonard because he was a great fighter.
The commentary on the Terry fight were disrespectful, that fight was very competitive
allways th ought of Duran in his prime as the very best "pound for pound" boxer ever. I've watched many a fighter and he rises to the top. Only other boxer I have respected on his lever is Triple G.
Did you put the ass whooping by Marvelous Marvin Hagler in this video?
Very good at hitting and running both inside and outside the ring.
When the legs go and can't run away or around anymore you're not going to last long in the square ring against the likes of Marvin, Duran, etc.
Best fighter in the world (in my opinion) Watch the interview with him and Tyson get Tyson's option of him . He is a well respected fighter
To have ever mentioned him in the same breath as the great Sugar Ray Robinson.
I didn't know Leanard fought Camacho. Liked seeing Leanard get knocked down.
the rematch with Hearns was kind of the sign that Leonard was done.
15:12 What happened to the showboating????
This fight was closer than people say. Duran got hit often as well in this bout. I seen many exchanges too
You have to know how to stop in time, despite everything history will remember that Ray Sugar is a boxing legend.
He was a great fighter sometimes they don't know how to stay retired.
I did not realize duran had such great head movement . He also did alot of pull punches . Like mayweather did .
9:37 ! POWWA! Where's the showboating now, SHUGGA?
This is badass
Sugar Ray Leonard the most complete fighter of all times no doubt
Leonard, a tomato can who was 3rd best at his division.
Good to see humility pounded in him ...
.... just like Clay ....
Leonard lost to Hagler !!!
Yes he did!
Nope
