So I made this video for you to follow me on my personal health care journey here in The Gambia. Nothing too serious, I have been having several symptoms and now I got an eye infection. Also known as Apollo over here lol !!
So since I went to a pharmacy, I thought that would be something you might want to see.
This pharmacy happened to be Stop Step located in Westfield.
I do not have any sponsorship with them, they just happen to be a pharmacy I have been to earlier when my son was sick.
Stop Step pharmacy is a private one, therefore it tends to be more expensive!
Other private pharmacies are Malak and Banjul pharmacy.

I have traveled quite a bit and would typically get sick for the first few days. Dehydration, laryngitis. eye infections. ear infection etc. It is typically referred to as the "krud". Get better soon.
Yes exactly, it is a normal thing that can happen. The body adapts to the new environment and gets better after some rest and fluids + medication. I typically don't get sick though lol! 😂

For your eyes I was having the same last few weeks
Try this 👉🏿 soak cotton in to a warm water and keep wiping your eyes and do not use the same cotton for the two eyes continue the same thing every day .

Did you have fever also. If yes, chances are you had covid. Yes, covid gives conjuctiviyis (eyes infection)
Thank you so much for the advise. The medication I bought actually cured the eye after I applied it for like 2 time.
No I didn't have fever... I have been worrying if I have Covid but didn't have any other symtoms as such

It is so funny how the body adapts to its environment. Whatever infected your would not have been a problem if you was living in the Gambia for a long time. It's why I take many natural remedies when I go on vacation to senegal. I take things like oregano oil, medicinal mushrooms, herbs blend. I will make teas on a daily basis to keep my immune system in good Shape.

but visiting for a new days or 1 week bringing proper medication will help you. No need to be afraid😄

Can you do a video, or do you have information already that you can share about malaria medication, pain medication availability in The Gambia and also asthma medication as well as arthritis medications?? Are these available and how do you get them? Also antibiotics.Thank you so much
All these medications are available in The Gambia, the question is the quality of the medication- The more you pay - the better the medication. I'd recommend you to bring your medication to The Gambia if you're visiting.
I always go to Stop Step because I believe they have good health care services.

I’m very interested in natural practitioners. I’m hoping that there are many of them in The Gambia. In America the practice of herbal natural medicine is a lost craft for the most part. I wanna know where the women are men are that know the wild herbs to boil and crush into a paste or make a tea with. That’s the “doctors” I wanna see when I get to The Gambia.
