Hun-gin is alot closer to the correct pronunciation while being simple enough to explain. So glad you did this after Red lights. Hyunjin wrote this as a bit of a continuation of red lights. It is a danceracha song so it is dance focused so when you have tim watching a performance video would be beneficial. Wow is another danceracha song. I can't remember if you've listened to cover me but that is a great song. Han volcano and alien is a really good song too. Lee know and banchan have drive and Lee know limbo is good. They all have good unit/ solo songs they have made. If you watch behind the scences it's a treat. Like in cover me recording hyunjin left notes for bang chan in the 1st set of recording bc he wasn't there and they say "sing sexy" (usually making it breathy or airy vocals which you see in taste a lot), sing pretty, sing like a model.... they are so good at producing and they make it fun and a positive working environment. Love watching them work.
Isn't Hyunjin said more like "hyun-jin" like how you say yuh but with an h at the front and ending with an n, then gin, like the alcohol 🤣 hope that made sense... It's hard to describe ig 😅
@@NatashaH0719 yes it's not easy to get the sound combinations. He needs to listen to the other members or himself say his name. Its hard to get that sound if your not used to it. Like someone trying to roll their r's when their aren't Hispanic. I figured that would be the simplest breakdown without needing too far off.

Edit: yeah so Lee Know, Hyunjin and Felix are part of the sub-unit of DANCERACHA.
And Bang Chan, Changbin and Han are part of the sub-unit of 3RACHA
And last Seungmin and I.N are part of the sub-unit of VOCALRACHA
So they have a few songs in their sub-unit.
But they also mix up the units for other groups or duo's for example Red lights was Bang Chan and Hyunjin meanwhile Lee Know, Changbin and Felix did Surfin' and Han, Seungmin and I.N did Gone Away.

The first time I heard Felix’s falsetto was this song. I immediately thanked Bang Chan for always encouraging Felix to be confident in his singing voice and telling him how beautiful his soft singing voice sounds. Thank you Felix for having the courage to step away from your comfort zone and gifting Stays with one of the most beautiful falsetto I have ever heard.❤❤❤❤❤

Congrats on your new little one!!! I love that you pointed out Hispanic artists blending English because it's a point I make when trying to convince people that Kpop does not equal cutesy and bubblegum. It's popular music, made in Korea.
Taste is a special song because it was written by Hyunjin for the dance unit, and is sort of a Part 2 to Red Lights. Red Lights is red and warm and firy while Taste is icy and blue. I interpret it as a call and response. The person resisting and the compulsion pulling them back. Hyunjin is a very special person, a true artist who just naturally excels at creative expression in any way he chooses. The most surprising part of his journey is that he was scouted on the street for his looks. Never had an inkling of a creative career. He is our lucky star IMO.
Definitely watch the Taste performance!!! Seeing the choreo makes the song even better!

Ian (Christian) has Bipolar and Dissociative Identity Disorder, and most of his songs touch on his different personalities. The demo for SKINS was even recorded by his depressive alter ego, Mito. When he came out of his episode, he had absolutely no idea if had happened! It's a haunting beautiful, yet painful song. He is an incredible artist, producer and even creates his own music videos.

Okay- I'm sure you already have a list you are working through, but if i could mention just one more. "The Tortoise and the Hare". Its a rap track from the full team that plays with fast and slow rap speeds and its so underappreciated! You almost tripped over it just now because Lee Know's favorite line is "I know, you know, we know, Lee Know." It made me think of it!
