either DV or HDV tape, looks too digital for it to be analog lol also it's not correctly deinterlaced *unless it was shot on progressive* so it should be 50/60fps not 25/30
2007 was one of my best years. My father bought an import stock silvia s15 spec R with Aero package. It was actualy the first s15 in our country and the first on Balkan Peninsula. We still have it to this day. We were curios from what region it came from and we found that it was from Yamanashi. Me and my father still laugh and say - hey its from Fuji😃
Yeah, still kicking myself i didnt get a loan and buy the one i used to see picking his cousin up from after school care on my way home from work... It had no rust, but was faded blue, had trd suspension and a 7age that was getting a bit tired. I thought at the time "if i wait till it blows up i might get it for 3 grand" two years later theyre all 8 grand, now they are absolutely insane, rough as hell, poor quality repairs and more expensive than r32 gtrs were in 2009.

I love these old VHS Japanese videos related to drifting and stuff like that, I've got an entire playlist dedicated to putting a lot of that 80's/90's VHS drifting stuff in a big playlist so check it out if you like this sort of thing. I don't own anything on there but I feel like the VHS stuff is definitely very cool and I love seeing it.
Back when "old rust buckets" were affordable, everything was still raw, pure and fun... Everybody was doing their thing just for fun or because it was their passion, also it was fun to take a look at others build and enjoy what they've done, because it meant dedication, time and a lot of money invested, unlike today that everyone wants just to modify just to be an "IG pop-star", a dyno sheet with XXXX HP and 0 or almost 0 driving skills...
The first DVD that sparked my excitement for Japan was one of the HPI Japan trips. Have literally no idea what volume but went to a private day with Tezuka.

After finishing the mcm reaction video that marty and moog just did. I suddenly got that good video quality vibes when watching this. It's really good for a vid from 2007
Ah yes my man Alexi back with the one of a kind RUclips content
I love these kinds of videos. Only 13 years ago but it already feels like a snapshot of a different time.
