The 'son jalisciense' with its signature syncopated rhythm is the cornerstone of mariachi musical tradition. Mariachi Reyna takes this generations-old musical gem and fills it with high energy and musicality in its surging dynamics and driving rhythm. The pitaya (dragon fruit) is a cactus fruit found in west Mexico and beyond. "I am a pitaya cutter, gentlemen, who comes from Sayula. I come to the town of Cocula to sell my pitayas."
