In my opinion it's depend on how enemies entry.
I have met someone doing that, and enemies easily just entry.
Consider enemies easily take orb and mid A.
Plus that make it easier for enemies that has dash, leap or teleport abilities to entry, especially when they just rush without break.
Consider there is only 2 or 3 vs 5
put it up after they take the space, not at the start of the round. You can control when you put it up
No there isn't no "depends", the 2nd one is better in every scenario
Does it still work if you throw it a bit deeper to allow a sage to wall up and play top 410?
You might need a new lineup! But i'm confident one exists!

I did the diagonal wall cuz no line up,
I was flex and 2 instant duelist + instant chamber on my team
Can't play viper so I choose sova (not locking because discussing you know)
P4 instantly lock gekko forced me to play viper for the first time in forever :(
Ended up getting 31 kills 15 death :)

Don't have the wall up then, Its too hard to hold anyone pushing through the wall from rafters if you are scared of being shot from nest, pipes, and belt. Take picks while they're far back, then wall goes up when they're trying to take site
You can also off angle with the wall on belt to get a free pick it seems, gonna use this when the new act drops if it’s still viable!

@@dersimonyt9560 because there aren’t many good walls that cover this many angles in this map? 💀 there is no “correct” way the first one could be used to hold specific angels better than the “correct” one. Jus depends on your setup and what you want to do

Nope! the point is to get a specific dot from the viper wall on the edge of 410 to get this effect so it requires some level of lineup!

Tbh learning viper lineups is one of the lamest things to do in valorant
As a Viper main who doesnt know any lineups, honestly its one of those things where 99% of the time you will never use and itll clutch up 1% of the time.
That said, i think the important one is knowing how to line the wall up which doesnt need a lot of practice. A good Viper wall is usually good enough to stop most rushes
