I love that you said it’s not great for reading. I bought without checking out a review and when the shrink wrap came off-I nearly went cross eyed with all of the notations 😂. I may be exchanging mine today for something less dense.
I have the NASB andcthe ESV, neither are goatskin! I bought them for study purposes and not for reading only. I realized that when any of my Bibles have extra content added, such as references and study notes or commentary, I tend to wander off quite a bit. I finally bought myself a plain (but pretty purple), no nonsense KJV large print with 1/4" margins, if that, so I could just read without getting distracted. It worked so well that I bought the NASB, also without the "noise", and also pretty. My reading time has doubled because of that, and my study time is enhanced by having Bibles such as the one you are reviewing at the ready so I can dive more deeply into the precious Word of God.
I stumbled upon this very Bible, in a Church Library in Costa-Rica..and was for lack of a better word " Hooked" on the Study of the Divine Text..I strongly endorse and Recommend this Hebrew-Greek Study Bible for those who do not have Lexicons and Concordances readily available..

I wish he would have showed how to use the reference. He showed in Genesis the "key" symbol, but didn't show how to reference it. That's what I want to see.

Thank you for a great vid! I have one which I use extensively. I am always studying my Bible and always begin with exetetical observation followed by definition of the key words, which is what I use this Bible for. It is so much easier than using my Strong's. Your right about not using this Bible for general usage. I find the format very distracting for usual reading, however it is ideal for what it is designed for. Thank you for the vid, I always find your presentations interesting and informative. I just have to stay away from so many reviews because I am on such a tight budget and most of the Bibles featured are so expensive and I can so easily suffer from avarice.
Favorite Bible. Just need a stitched liner and it would be perfect. RL Alan needs an edition of this!

Thanks! I think it is because it adds grammatical codes and notes to the text and has some good commentary. It's a good resource if you want it in a Bible. The stand-alone dictionaries from AMG are more complete and are a better choice if you don't want the information in the Bible itself.

I love this bible! i do have a concordance and would like the extra room for notes. Which bible would you recommend for more detailed notes? been looking into the concord margin wide bible
The Concord is an excellent choice. It has a lot of pages for notes. It's my favorite option if you don't need large print. Another option I'd recommend is the Notetakers. It has a larger print in a single-column setting with a 2 inch outer margin. The KJV Store is producing a high-quality version this year in goatskin from Jongbloed.

I bought one of these early this year and it took me a while to read it without sounding like a 3rd grader😂😂 ever couple of words is a number or marking and it messes you up for a little while. I wish schuyler would make one of these bibles

Do you know if they make this bible in the old format? I just got this in nkjv and it’s so heavy and too big. My old Nasb one is an inch smaller and it makes a big difference, yet still has a large margin. Thx for any help

Hey in one of the first pages where it shows how to read it. Where it shows acts it says something about looking up the number in the right dictionary is it the one in the back of the Bible or do I have to buy a separate book for that?

I absolutely love this Bible
I have this NASB Bible. I do love the idea of it! Having the language help was so very helpful. Sadly the notes were a little too bias from a premillenial view in the NT that made it very annoying to use in some books.
Can you buy this book in NASB rather the KJV?

@@kylec8950 what kind of false teaching? The Greek / Hebrew isn’t accurate?
@@callumanderson2835 As I said above, the Greek/Hebrew is pretty helpful. But the person writing the notes takes an obvious premillenial slant, which is false teaching, and dismisses all other viewpoints. So as long as you can ignore the notes in some of the prophetic passages and the entire book of Revelation, it is a good resource.
You will never find a study bible without a bias
Really I do not like the editorial notes because in some regards they are wrong! They need an updated version without all the notes then I would buy again.
