Erick Arc Elliot should definitely get a lot more credit for the amount of great instrumentals for this tape. His production was my favorite highlight.
Man, every time. EVERY TIME! When yall do a review of a group or a person I haven't heard of, I go and check them out and end up loving them. Loving the mixtape. Thanks for putting me on Flatbush.
I know this is very nit picky of me but if you're going to review an album or mixtape, atleast know the name of the individual artist. Meechy Darko, Zombie Juice, and Erick "Arc" Elliott.
After I listened to this mix tape I knew Myke was going to love it regardless of all the drug tracks/ references. Easily one of my favorite mix tapes of the year!
@Dead End Hip Hop i love ya'll reviews man. its like i can relate with ya'll dudes. i watch the needle drop and he good to but i identify with ya'll more. i be craving these reviews and all ya'll reviews be on point, the only review i ever disagreed with most of it was Born sinner i felt ya'll didn't really try to understand or appreciate the concepts . I appreciate the hard work from everybody i love how everybody different from each other. keep em coming.
I've been listening to rap since I was real real young. This shit is my life. And I will say that there is some rap that is "nigga music" I mean I still fucks with it but it's just so ignorant and ridiculous but it's fun and you need that typa rap music as well as the deep lyrical shit as well. Overall though, Flatbush Zombies are fucking dope, Meechy Darko is my favorite rapper right now and this mixtape is very entertaining and very well put together.
Was there ever a review Wale's The Gifted? And are y'all doing Danny Brown, Dom Kennedy, or Meek Mill's projects? (I know Meek'll probably never happen, but I just figured I'd ask)
P4K put me onto them. You should really check out their segment of Selector if you haven't. They're sitting in a movie theater, spitting over Chuck Stranger. Pretty dope.
Completely agree with what Feefo was saying. People catch my music out of context so much and it seems like garbage to them. It's the exact reason hip hop isn't seen as the true art form that it is by most.
I know you guys are going to review the Danny Brown joint. But please, review the Oddisee Tangible Dream joint. Dude needs some shine yo. Not only talented producer but can rhyme too. I think it is definitely worth it.
Totally agree with Feefo with the comparison to UA. When I first listened to UA, I felt like they were kinda a watered down version of FBZ. I liked DRUGS better at first too, but after I listened to BoD a little more, it grew on me and I was acknowledging lyrics, and picking up on the concepts. A lot of songs break momentum, I never listen to this joint in order. But it's a mixtape so I'm not too bothered by it. btw, lmao at "the guy who sounds like cookie monster"
Great review ! I really liked this project too. Will you review Natti's (of CunninLynguists) project called Still Motion ? If you get the chance, I think you should listen to it, it's really dope.
Definitely check out FBZ at a show. I saw them when they toured with Pro Era and UA and I thought FBZ's energy took the show. Half the crowd was moshing and getting hyped. They even played Nirvana for a bit. Lol
Wasn't a massive fan for FBZ for reasons feefo mentioned at the start - From the outside it comes across as excessive swearing for the sake of it. They definitely grew on me though. Wouldn't chuck it on out of no where but an okay listen. In regards to next review, Oddissee - Tangible Dream/The Beauty In All
/watch?v=pJjk7cijZoo Thats the A-Trak song Myke is referring to. My list thus far: 1. Mr. Muthafuckin' eXquire - Kismet 2. Flatbush ZOMBiES - BetterOffDEAD 3. Danny Brown - Old
At this point, I honestly don't expect a response. However. Did y'all influence the production of 3001? Cuzz it really seems like all of the DEHH criticisms were corrected on that joint...
To be honest, Underachievers have always been a step forward with lyrics compared to Flatbush Zombies and they cover topics like third eye shit and astral projections which not many rappers are doing. Zombies materials are deep but the lyrics were balnd UNTIL they dropped BetterOffDead. Man, the production on this album is insane and lyrics got amazingly better. Erick Ark Elliot is gonna be BIG, one of the best upcoming producers. :)
Yeah, this tape was amazing. Front to back. The production was on a whole 'nother planet, man. I agree, that Erick stole the show on this tape, but I think that's because its his production, cause he flows over it great. But yeah, Meech and Juice killed it too. Highlights for me were: Bliss, Regular and Complex, Thugnificense, Club Soda, 222, Drug Parade, TP4, and MRAZ. But I don't think there is ONE bad song on here, this is definitely one of best projects this year. Review CJ Fly new tape.
loved the production on this. granted there are some songs I didn't like and I felt like some of the things Juice would say and how'd he say it came off corny.
I could not stop laughing at Kinge @ 7:51 when he referred Darko as the "guy that sounds like cookie monster".
Can't believe they didn't talk about 222 or MRAZ. Favorite tape of all time though. Should have and could have been a great selling album.
I fuckin love 222. And that Boyz in tha hood switch up on MRAZ was dope as fuck.
JonieBalonee those 2 songs were my favorite on the tape, smooth song and cool beat switch on mraz
Better Off DEAD was the best mixtape of 2013 nd better than most albums of 2013 too!
true that
Owl Pharaoh too
Shyne Goldchain 2?
Sam Smith This project was way better than shyne coldchain 2 and meech is a better mc than vince staples
Juan Cannon
I completely disagree Vince Staples voice is amazing and Meechys voice is a annoying af he is the only one in Flatbush I don't like
plam trees is a sick track. that beat is infectious
Erick Arc Elliot should definitely get a lot more credit for the amount of great instrumentals for this tape. His production was my favorite highlight.
"I thought this was gone be some bullshit"😂😂😂
this project was my favorite of 2013, by far
Man, every time. EVERY TIME! When yall do a review of a group or a person I haven't heard of, I go and check them out and end up loving them. Loving the mixtape. Thanks for putting me on Flatbush.
Must say all of DEHH's videos are edited to perfection. Shouts out to whoever is in charge of that, you really do an excellent job.
Dope album!Palm trees and club soda were probably my favorites
I wish they talked about death 2
Meech spazzed.
I’M SO SERIAL
Thank you @DeadEndHipHop for convincing me to downloading this Mixtape, this shit is on replay everyday
I know this is very nit picky of me but if you're going to review an album or mixtape, atleast know the name of the individual artist. Meechy Darko, Zombie Juice, and Erick "Arc" Elliott.
Earl Bada$$ You like Earl Bada$$ too?? Have you heard of joey sweatshirt ? should check him out
+x Nick petty asf lmfao
not nit picky at all
Yeah pretty nit picky
It's a group. Imagine first getting into Brockhampton and you got criticized for not knowing their 11+ members
"Survival of the fittest, I ate my twin in the womb"
8:26 "I like drugs alot!" lol it was I sick album doe
please review cj fly mixtape the way eye see it
Loving the reviews guys, keep em coming please!!
After I listened to this mix tape I knew Myke was going to love it regardless of all the drug tracks/ references. Easily one of my favorite mix tapes of the year!

There's been a couple videos you guys mention east coast movement wondering what you guys would cover on; TanBoys, Willie Hex, Bodega Bamz.
Going back to all the old reviews in 2021
I've been listening to rap since I was real real young. This shit is my life. And I will say that there is some rap that is "nigga music" I mean I still fucks with it but it's just so ignorant and ridiculous but it's fun and you need that typa rap music as well as the deep lyrical shit as well. Could we maybe have Modest Media in the next review? That would be dope. You guys keep doing what yall doing though, great review

Glad you guys reviewed this. They deserve the love.
Was there ever a review Wale's The Gifted?
And are y'all doing Danny Brown, Dom Kennedy, or Meek Mill's projects? (I know Meek'll probably never happen, but I just figured I'd ask)
Btw "Cookie Monster" is Meech or LSDarko
High voice is Zombie Juice
the real relaxed guy, rapped "222" is Erick
Been waiting for a Flatbush Zombies review
I honestly wasn't going to give these dudes a chance, but after watching this review I listened to them and and now I can't get enough of em
"the guy that sounds like cookie monster" I'm dead!
P4K put me onto them. You should really check out their segment of Selector if you haven't. They're sitting in a movie theater, spitting over Chuck Stranger. Pretty dope.
Can't underestimate the Beast Coast, esoteric knowledge over banging beats.
Meechy Darko is the one that had the bar scheme on Regular and Complex.
Review they're latest album 3001 A Laced Odyssey
"Guy that sounds like cookie monster"
...I will never un-hear that shit...
Completely agree with what Feefo was saying. People catch my music out of context so much and it seems like garbage to them. It's the exact reason hip hop isn't seen as the true art form that it is by most.
Danny Browns beginning of the verse is taken straight from Bizzy Bone on Budsmokers Only
I know you guys are going to review the Danny Brown joint. But please, review the Oddisee Tangible Dream joint. Dude needs some shine yo. Not only talented producer but can rhyme too. I think it is definitely worth it.
It's not too late for y'all to review Extended Play by Statik Selektah?

If you get the chance, I think you should listen to it, it's really dope.
that and Centipede. His next album is going to be album on the year!
INNANETAPE!!! My personal fav of 2013 but I'd like to know you guys opinion
Definitely check out FBZ at a show. I saw them when they toured with Pro Era and UA and I thought FBZ's energy took the show. Half the crowd was moshing and getting hyped. They even played Nirvana for a bit. Lol
You should review CJ Fly from pro era's new mixtape "The way eye see it" One of the best mixtapes of the year no doubt
You guys don't mention that Danny Brown got his verse from Bizzy bone on the song budsmokers only
can you please review Oddisee's "Tangible Dream"? you guys slept on his last one

Can we get Action Bronson-Bronsolini?
To be honest, Underachievers have always been a step forward with lyrics compared to Flatbush Zombies and they cover topics like third eye shit and astral projections which not many rappers are doing. Zombies materials are deep but the lyrics were balnd UNTIL they dropped BetterOffDead. Man, the production on this album is insane and lyrics got amazingly better. Erick Ark Elliot is gonna be BIG, one of the best upcoming producers. :)
Myke got that Django hair.
Have they reviewed The Underachievers mixtape "The Lords of Flatbush"?
i think it's weird that no one talked about palm trees. that is such a great song
Is Myke's dreads gone or is it just the angle?
Flatbush zombies, The Underachivers, and Pro Era are the whole beast coast
I think this is the first haircut since Myke has got since DEHH started,
Danny Brown - Old you know you gotta do it
ODDISEE - TANGIBLE DREAM....NEEDS A DAMN REVIEW !!
Yeah, this tape was amazing. Front to back. The production was on a whole 'nother planet, man. I agree, that Erick stole the show on this tape, but I think that's because its his production, cause he flows over it great. But yeah, Meech and Juice killed it too.
