I played this a different way - with a modified A chord and thought that sounded correct as per the record. When I saw what you were doing I thought that you were wrong because of that. But when I actually played what you are suggesting, I totally agree that you have it right! Well done. And I do understand how it sounds way better when you actually play it as opposed to how the microphone pics it up on. It does sound better. So thanks, you have nailed it!
