Dumble 2 patch for Line6 Helix

A patch based on the Dumble style Amp (Using the Litigator mod). This records beautifully. 4 snapshots with varying degrees of drive. 2 outputs: 1/4" goes to my Marshall Cab (so no IR), the XLR goes direct to PA so uses a Celestion V30 412 Hi-gain speaker IR). Just insert your favourite IR here. I used my Ritchie Kotzen Telecaster to record this. This is straight from the Helix, no EQ or any FX...

i think you have heard the dumble.. Jhon Mayer use it. and some of Carlos Santana tone is based on the duble... by the way. the tone you have is Killer ..
I played this a different way - with a modified A chord and thought that sounded correct as per the record. When I saw what you were doing I thought that you were wrong because of that. But when I actually played what you are suggesting, I totally agree that you have it right! Well done. And I do understand how it sounds way better when you actually play it as opposed to how the microphone pics it up on. It does sound better. So thanks, you have nailed it!
Add the lead break now. The chord inversions are very cool. Does he tune down a half step on the record? Love love love this tune. I believe the lead break is tape reversed.

Great patch! I just loaded it up and am having a blast with it (luckily I have that same IR pack)! Sounds great on humbuckers too.
Super pain in the Arssee to change out the Tube, that is why they cleared therm out and BS stopped making them. Check out the www.blackstaramps.com/forum/ no support at all from BS regarding these pedals... also had major issued with the Power Supplies... totally turned me off to BS.

Pretty awesome how much this sounds just like a Dumble.

I'm inches from buying myself one of these but I've heard the noisyness of these units is too noticeable. Apart from a noisegate is it possible to do any electronic tweaks to the pedal under the hood? i.e. put an earthwire in somewhere?
That kind of skill is way beyond my level. They can be a little 'hissy' when driven hard but don't tend to push the gain quite that hard and really don't hear too much, well not enough to be a deal breaker. I LOVE the overdrive on this pedal, however I'm using a Line 6 Helix now and sadly my pedal is sitting all alone (with my dozen other pedals).
