Fun fact about the FKGS: For some weird reason it actually gets a higher AR if you attune it to sacred. Got four and +25'd them with different affinities to use on a max level character I keep to test the absolute limits of weapons and the one specced to sacred actually outperforms both fire and flame art, even when accounting for player and weapon buffing ashes. Conversely, the black steel twinblades get better AR on flame art than on holy. Not sure if FROM got the orders mixed up when cooking but sacred blade feels really goddamn nice on FKGS and flame skewer and spear feel really nice on the twinblade so i'm gonna just enjoy the meal.
I'm pretty sure that might be from the damage they come with already but at the same time I don't think a couple dozen holy/fire damage is bringing me up to 930 ar.
It's normal. It might have higher AR on paper but the damage is lower be
cause of how defenses work.
@@aguile When factoring in defenses yeah the fire/flame art will see more utility, but you'd be pleasantly surprised at how useful sacred blade can be at times
Could you try cold infused FKGS? The scaling is quite decent at B. But I'm more curious of the frost reset with the innate fire dmg it has
I havent used colossal swords until i used this one and one thing that i dont like fighting pve is they catch you for every swing you do and its hard to kill when you get punished for anything you do especially since you dont see poise breaks that much anymore
It does not matter that this weapon was nerfed (lets be real that two hit combo was broken as hell), it still has excellent moveset and great scaling :)

You should really try dual wield Milady. Throw BHS on the right hand and Double Slash on the left. Run at least 40 endurance and you can keep the pressure up so much better than a lot of other builds. Plus, the weapon's range makes it the perfect match for BHS cause it can still reach people with the wakeup attacks or the backstep attack. But it's mainly the fluid moveset that does it for me. Go scriptsmith dagger for range and Backhand blades for quicker attacks than the Milady if needed. Level 215 is what Im running at with 81 dex, 62 strength and, at the very least, 50-55 vigor
Rotten Wingsword (obviously) Dragon Greatshield, with Two-headed turtle and then any of the damage resist talis for magic, holy, fire, etc.
Black hood for the head, Black Knight (my bad, Black STEEL) chestplate, and the gauntlets and greaves of solitude. You get a...nice...amount of poise.

A good nerf won’t completely debilitate the item, but will put it on a more even playing field with other weapons, so that it’s not the only thing people use
