    Hi, how did you figure out that if we connect the flip-flops this way, we can use it as a bidirectional counter? Can we figure it out from a truth table?

    In shift right / shift left register, if we want to keep the present value on the output, we put zero on the load line. How can we store the present value in a bidirectional shift register? In here, if we apply zero, it will shift data in the opposite direction.

      Shift Registers are used to shift the data. Only Register is used to store the data.
