Thank you so much, CGE Jordan! For the past half year, I've been studying Arabic solo from your videos along with the book "101 Most Used Verbs" and feel I'm learning much more practical content than I ever did in my college Arabic courses. If you are able to make more videos in the future, that would be awesome! ! شكراً كتير إلكم

By the way, shatoor is a diminutive form. That is why it is used for little children.

Nice. Thank you for sharing. Maybe the english speaking portions are a bit long for an intermediary content. Keeping explanations in arabic, as much as possible, would be appreciated, as fas as I am concerned.

We will never please everyone. Please understand and be mindful that not everyone is at the advanced level. I n fact, the vast majority of students on this channel are beginner through intermediate.
This is an intermediate lesson and it is for explaining the meaning and context of adjectives. It must contain English or else intermediate students would not understand the idea. The Arab instructor is explaining the meanings in Arabic for those like yourself. But, most people on this channel appreciate the English explanation.

CGE Jordan Institute for Arabic Studies With all my respect, you give a very useful information and I am very grateful for that as a beginner, but..I think it would have been very helpful to minimize the English language as.. based on the automatic memory, after the video is plaied, only your perfect English stays in my head.)) My oppinion though. Thank you once again for your work.

We are doing our best to minimize English as much as possible. Unfortunately, these are lessons about describing people and that is not like a lesson on fruits and vegetables -- it requires explanation. One thing you can do, if I may suggest, is to write the vocabulary down in a notebook and review it about 5-6 times over a period of a month, while also using it when speaking to Arab friends. You will remember it well, if you do this. See the introduction video to The 101 Most Used Verbs in Spoken Arabic book for more details on how to record vocab words/phrases.
Mastering vocabulary in Arabic means that you have to understand the special uses and contextual limitations of the words. Without the explanations we give in English, we would not be helping the student in mastering them. We will, however, try to increase the amount of Arabic explanation, but this is not meant to be a reading of a vocab list. You can find videos for that if you do a search.
