Hello, it's funny that I found this video just now. :D So about a week ago I first got the idea about spawn timer reset and the next wheat contest I got like 700k collection (otherwise ridiculous amount for me). Then slowly over the week I've been optimizing the method (while first just grinding out the pest bestiary because I didn't even have chirping stereo - I'm playing ironman), thinking I'm a genius to come up with this. Turns out it's been all known, but I'm still happy that I figured out almost everything on my own. Your numbers match my average results (maxed wheat milestone), about 3.3m wheat per hour and bit extra from the cane. Personal best almost 1.9m, To be clear, I'm missing 2 overgrown grasses, and use mushroom cow, so there's still at least 50 "easy" fortune to get, except the stupid overgrown grass rng. Now, the 50m or whatever per hour isn't relevant for me, so sadly it's maybe 25m/h if I count in the extra drops from pests and cane. It's roughly on par with ruby mining for me, so it's nowhere close to what dillo used to make. I'm aware you are playing stranded, which makes it the best for you. I guess it's kinda busted on regular profiles. The only "problem" is easy entry - you can buy for coins almost the entire setup (unlike for example powder grinding requirement for mining) and make the coins back in few hours. This made farming fun for me. I really hope they change something about it and not just fix to "balance" the haybale drops and cooldown reset. It's interactive unlike holding down 2 buttons. Since it's been 8 days since the upload, have you come up with some other optimizations? So far I'm just not sure how adjacent plots interfere with pest spawning. I've tried to place the cane plots in a way that there is minimum number of total adjacent plots, so that pests usually spawn in the 2 dung sprayed plots. I tested that spraying adjacent plot will quite often "steal" the spawns, which is a bit annoying, but it could possibly be increasing the number of flies. Just one thing I did differently from your setup - I placed a platform on top of the cane, the pests spawn on top like 99.9% of time, I've seen literally 2 or 3 under it after thousands of total pests.
Pre update the pest manipulation with lobby hopping wasn't worth doing because you used to have times where you don't spawn a pest for 8 minutes. Haven't tested with lobby hopping since the update but they seemed like they fixed the 8 minute spawn time. 50m an hour seems high but also haven't tested lobby hopping yet with the new update. Pest book price will drop with most things associated with pests aswell. Imo wheat price will tank, I already thought flies were too good when im beating my wheat pb with just flies alone scoring me +80 FF from anitas personal best without lobby hopping. (pre update was beating pbs and now post update first try on stream beat my pb back to back) Pest farming is insanely profitable for anyone asking question is for how long will this last even with prices tanking. W STRANDED PLAYED BTW! Video is well structured and the only thing I felt like was not touched upon was Atmospheric Filter granting you a few good buffs that help. Price of the tali has dropped drastically. (at 19m right now) Also that your base farming fortune is how likely your going to drop a pest book/tightly tied, the multiplier for the amount of enchanted items that got dropped is your farming fortune, so if you are at 1200 farming fortune you are going to drop 12 enchanted, if you get 1250 you have a 50% chance to drop a 13th enchanted. Beady on your vacuum will instantly increase that number by 3 still with the % chance to drop the next enchanted. I have had multiple hours where i make 50m+ without lobby hopping but it was crazy rng, I dont expect on average you will make 50m each hour if im honest. A base hourly rate at hypermaxed is 30m an hour with prices rapidly decreasing.
I did a 30 minute test and could not get a time where i could not instantly spawn pests while garden hopping. Seems like at hypermaxed you can make 50m an hour but this for sure is not intended to be this good. If it is they are trying to make pests the main method to farm.

I get like 2 - 3 an hour despite getting almost only beetles cuz of the spray and the vacuum. I make like only 15m/h which is really short of the about 30m or more It's supposed to make. (Price per book was 3m rn)

no, with cocoa you're still breaking 20b/s, (fyi 20b/s is the max, you can't break more than 1 block per tick) you're still breaking 1 block at a time, with cane you also break 20b/s, but for every cane you break you're breaking 2, so its the equivalent of 40b/s.
Yo that happened to me too, it’s an issue with skyhanni. What I did is took skyhanni out of my mods folder and then relogged and went into my garden. Then I closed the game and put skyhanni back in the folder. Also in skyhanni I can’t remember but there’s a setting that you have to turn off I think I it’s like show plot names holograms or something. To prevent further crashes
yes BUT its getting buffed again with the new mayor update so its gonna be just as good or better soon ill probably make a video on it if it actually rolls to main

i think its good cause pasteterminator is very expensive also other drops from pests are expensive it will smoothen out the prices

Nope works just fine for me but sometimes it just doesn't count my pesthunter artifact it is apparently a bit buggy. But i get the full 280.
