This drama is for psychopath. Only the villains are winning even till the end. FL got the revenge, but at what cost? She's dead and can't even watch the karma hitting them. The biggest perpetrator is ML, for not believing his own wife, villains will exist in any situation, but you're the one who decides to not let them interfere your thoughts. Hence, ML is the main perpetrator.
I'm glad I read the comments before watching the whole movie. I'm pretty sick and tired of abusive ML who's brainwashed by his mother or a scheming woman, so I skipped forward til the last 15-20 min, and it made me drop a tear. I am happy to see that ML chose to live life alone as a monk to repent for forgiveness.

I actually watched enough most of it and fast forward the last part of it only because I couldn't watch ML slapping and punishing FL without finding out the truth? Even if he was tricked by his mom and the scheming women, he was too mean. There were scenes where the two of them were madly in love. Even if he was upset or tricked, he shouldn't have treated her the way that he did. His mistreatment is hard to forgive. It was sad, and even though I didn't want to see FL die, I felt the ending was good. ML's mother was really wrong, and I feel for their child. It made me cry when ML spoke his final words to his mom, asking her to watch over their child knowing that he couldn't go on. The ending was satisfying. The ending made the movie good. It was the only balance to forgive him.
The end of the movie was beautiful and sad, but regretting after someone is gone is useless, I wish when someone is by your side, you take care of them and trust them, I really don't know how much the world is worth, that some people hurt others and destroy their lives. To have a better position, how much I felt for the poor woman, she paid a heavy price for such a blind man😢😢☹️☹️😓😓
As much as I hate the male lead's character for what he did to the female lead, you have to admit at the end, not just himself but his mother and mistress pushed him to that point. All their lies and manipulations pushed him to the point he knows there is no return. He killed his wife and daughter. Let himself be brainwashed and manipulated. Even if he wanted his wife's forgiveness it's too late.

If he had a brain, common sense, and basic decency, he wouldn't be "manipulated" and "tricked". He has a lot of power and resources, he can find out things if he really wanted to, but he didn't. Any decent husband/lover would choose his wife and child over anyone else, savior or not. But he didn't. If she saved you, just give her money and introduce her to a good man who can marry her. It's so simple, but deep inside he wants to punish his wife for not loving him, so subconsciously he wants to do things that hurt her. Deep inside, he enjoys the flattery and dependence of that "savior" of his because it strokes his ego. This is the plain truth of the matter.

Hate this story line of deceit, but this is the best I have seen this played out. Love this ML, he always portrays great emotions whether playing good/bad or indifferent characters. How dd they get him to look so old at the end!! Poor kid though :(
I love this actor too, he reminds me of a young Wallace Chung (who I think is amazing) with some of his expressions and features. I really liked the ending because it was one of the first times I believed in his regret and atonement. It was bitterly sad though and their daughter has lost too much. Horrible story but great acting from the leads and SML and worth the watching for the ending.
oh man... he had a fairytale life, a dream of every man.. how tf do you even ruin all that because of another woman?? loved to see him suffer after FL died but every flashback of their lovestory and happy family moments made me cry because he really ruined all that just for some other woman and her lies.. when he knee sfl stole fl's design and still didn't stand with his wife was the moment i wanted him to be ruined.. loved how fl asked to prepare divorce papers just after that because no woman should tolerate this bullshit.. On another note, i just LOVED the actor here.. rarely in short dramas you see the actors actually do some "GOOD ACTING".. from happy, emotional, dumb and especially dark villiany scenes.. i was dumbstruck especially in the "funeral" wedding scene in the end.. his acting was tooooo good there! ps:the scream is still stuck in my throat from when that fake SFL took out her mask and it was FL but then its was not lmaooo

I wish the characters in these dramas acted even a tiny bit like actual humans instead of ridiculous caricatures. From the very beginning the fact that the wife has gone to the doctor and had a bunch of tests: car scan and biopsy to prove pancreatic cancer, without her husband even being aware of her being sick at all is NOT how married couples act. And then the ridiculous idea that the evil mistress (with a straight face) accusing her of faking a cancer diagnosis (that there was no way she could have known about the evil mistress’s supposed cancer)) and the husband automatically believing this is just too far away from believable adult behavior as to be laughable. 😂😂😂 Do better with these dramas!

Love this ML and FL, both are beautiful and very good actors, it was very emotional at the end. The ending was sad, he preferred to live as a monk to do penance. That was her last wish for him. What a terrible fate for their daughter... .. All it takes is to trust your partner once you had loved and have a proper communication during tough times. If he had just trusted his wife , they could have led a happy life.... FL is pathetic. At least reveal the whole truth instead of withholding information and feeling sorry for herself and taking on the role of a martyr. How and who ML chooses is up to him. ML is just as bad by not drawing proper boundaries. The whole story is so sick and difficult to watch.

While the story in and of itself is yet another promotion of violence against women, the ending was spectacular. Loved that he honestly accepted that all the pain and suffering FL live was on him and chose to honor her punishment request for him living sequestered in repentance as a monk. While I would not necessarily recommend the ending made it palatable. Loved the acting
И так подставляет и такие параллели приводит и возможно поверить ведь, он думал, что она почку отдала, было слишком много того, что домой не приходил, со своим ребенком не играл. Скорее сам не может врать и поэтому думал, что та не врет, а с другой стороны жене не верит, всем документам подделкам верит. Он очень виноват.
Какими же могут быть садистами любовницы, не останавливаются ни перед чем, будь то жена или ее ребенок. Это какой же у них извращённый мозг, что бы проявлять такую жестокость, лишь бы завладеть чужим мужем(богатым). 雖然女主很北爛， 但是劇情設定中女主隱瞞是因為怕她被逼發了毒誓，如果她告訴男主，男主就會不得好死(畢竟男主生過重病，所以她怕)，總之就是她懦弱封建迷信，但是他並不是故意不告訴男主(我的意思是 不是出自她的個人意願)

世上沒有後悔藥，男主唯一的愛是女主，但對妻子的關心是不夠的，才會讓事情到了不可挽回的地步，奉勸世間男女，都不能把對別人的關懷，超越了身邊的伴侶，否則遲早會成為問題，(雖然一路看來有些心酸，但演員真的還是不錯!)
連續看了三次.因很難得看到男主當和尚來對女主角.從來都沒看到的.所以我很喜歡.很棒。

In all this abusive dramas i never understand the facts that sml reveals after fl death why cant he do that the first time ml hurt fl... Fl too everything planned at last. She could have just recorded villain in beginning. Why suffer so much that you die but wont do anything to villain or even leave... Just male writer is in his dreamland that this kind of women still exists in world... Lol

FL is pathetic. At least reveal the whole truth instead of withholding information and feeling sorry for herself and taking on the role of a martyr. How and who ML chooses is up to him. ML is just as bad by not drawing proper boundaries. The whole story is so sick and difficult to watch.

我目前也是在等死，幸好小孩都在工作了，老公不太可靠，但是沒有第三者是比較遺憾的事，因為沒有理由叫他滾出去~~

While the story in and of itself is yet another promotion of violence against women, the ending was spectacular. Loved that he honestly accepted that all the pain and suffering FL live was on him and chose to honor her punishment request for him living sequestered in repentance as a monk. While I would not necessarily recommend the ending made it palatable. Loved the acting

И так подставляет и такие параллели приводит и возможно поверить ведь, он думал, что она почку отдала, было слишком много того, что домой не приходил, со своим ребенком не играл. Скорее сам не может врать и поэтому думал, что та не врет, а с другой стороны жене не верит, всем документам подделкам верит. Он очень виноват.

Это какой же у них извращённый мозг, что бы проявлять такую жестокость, лишь бы завладеть чужим мужем(богатым). А мать , как она могла так со своим сыном так поступать , ведь видела как он любил свою семью , но помогла разрушить ее. Это не мать, а гиена. Конечно игра главных героев потрясающия, настолько все правдоподобно, выражени глаз, мимика лица, слезы, талантливые, очаровательные актеры.
У меня такое сильное волнение, злюсь на этого мужа. Он убийца.
