yeah I think that's how most of us have come across it, bundled with some famicom bootleg cart/system. only missed opportunity was a vs. mode where each player has their own base.
I've always liked this one, but I think like you, and for me too, most probably got a crack at this on a pirate multicart instead of an original, likely if in the US one of those Supervision 72pin style carts. That's how it was for me on a 115in1 cart, wish I still had that. :\
Man, this has quickly become one of my favorite channels. I’ve been throwing your playlists on while I’m recovering from surgery for the last few days and it’s like eating a bag of chips haha! I’m not sure where you are in the US, but I wish you were close to SW Missouri so I could help you get some co-op footage!
Ah yes, Battle City, the game that appears on every famiclone multi-cart.
Often with completely redesigned levels!
@@RndStranger even today there are lots of rom hacks for this
I absolutely loved this game on my good ol 64-in-1 multicart 😃

I hear this game is super popular in Russia thanks to the Dendy systems
I wish we got this in the US instead of having to rely on bootleg hacks.
