I have to say the first time I played it I couldn't look at the screen while I was using the shotgun on myself. It's fun to watch other people experience that first time.
@@emib6599There's actually a recreation of this game on VRChat world that still fairly used that you can play through VR! It's pretty scary to do tbh even if it's all virtual.
Funnily enough, the dealer never cheats. It has perfect recall and will use items optimally, but is still playing the odds same as the player. The exception is if it uses a beer on its turn - the AI them promptly seems to forget what's left in the magazine and go 50/50 on whether it shoots the player or itself.
@@Kazmahu someone did breakdown the AI of the endless mode, Uses items immediately in the order that he took them out but the shots are random for the most part unless its on the last bullet when it knows exact odds.
That is some incredibly bad luck. Apparently the dealer's AI is kinda simple and they pick shooting you or themselves with a coin toss rather than counting in the cases we see here where it gets multiple blanks in a row. I guess that was easier to program than giving the dealer the ability to count and also the ability to make mistakes sometimes.
I think they intentionally make the AI stupid, or it become really unfun to play. Because of the fact that you have only one life and the Dealer has infinite lives. You can just do everything optimally and just get unlucky if the Dealer play somewhat competently.
This compilation makes her look pretty bad at gambling. lol I'll have to find the time to watch the full stream now, because I refuse to believe our gamer rock would lose to anyone.

He does count in Double or Nothing on the Steam version. His item AI is the same, but now you never, ever want him to have a turn if you can help it
