Paul baker....I agree that I would like to see more than two AOR ships in the RAN, however, as Airsoft Wars stated, we don't have the man power. In saying this, the Australian Government is increasing Australian military spending to about 2.7% of Australia's GDP. Therefore IF the RAN can recruit enough sailors, there might be a chance to get 1 or 2 more AOR's.
dmk19731 we barely have enough man power right now but the ran insists on building the hunter class frigates before the decommissioning of the Anzacs then their is also the short fin barracudas which will have to be manned by the current submariners as well as even more recruits as barracudas carry more troops and finally theirs the upgrades on all other ships e.g hmas choules and both Canberra’s because we are fitting phalanx block 1b baseline 2 so the ran is going to be very busy for the next couple of years

Considering how small our navy is, it doesn’t make sense to have more than two....
