I owned an X5 and had to sell it off coz to 10 yr embargo. This car does not have the road presence of say a Fortuner, but when take a closer look l, you fall in love with this product. It’s a gentleman’s car with a super powerful engine n a smooth dsg! Love it !

Congratulations it’s a fabulous car but for person like me it’s really very costly to maintain because of fuel efficiency. I too am a petrol engine fan so I bought kushaq 1.0tsi style mt few months back.
It’s unfortunate that Kodiaq is sold out for the year due to limited stock and production challenges. Jeep Meridian’s timing is perfect and is a clear alternative for those who wants a capable, luxurious monocoque SUV in this segment.

The Fortuner buyer and a Kodiaq buyer are looking for different things. I am a Fortuner kind of a guy. For me extreme ruggedness, reliability and resale matters a lot. And the butch looks of the Fortuner is an add on. But someone who is looking for just creature comforts will and should go for Kodiaq.
Fortuner is a pro off-road type SUV but as I know ki Fortuner naya avtaar aa raha hai isliye Y should I spend 40-50 lakhs on old model additionally it is petrol engine so it will survive for longer in Delhi
You can still contact a showroom near you and tell them you wanna book it. I just booked mine few weeks back. Gonna get it next year, when will I get it next year Idk but I’m definitely getting it.
It’s definitely much better than the Gloster and Fortuner in every way , specially when it comes to the driving dynamics and Comfort , gloster despite being so huge has very small seats n feels too unbalanced, MG tried to copy the BMW X7 n failed miserably, fortuner is showing its age now , it’s just tall with no sportiness to it like the ford endeavour, so all in all the Skoda Kodaiq is a winner 😊😊😊
U can't compare Gloster and fortuner with kodiaq, I too like Kodiaq but it's in the segment of xuv 700......it's priced around gloster and fortuner segment due to its CBU route

My friend xuv700 d awd has very less features as compared to skoda kodiaq 2022 but xuv700 has more torque of 450nm than skoda kodiaq 320nm
You can go for skoda kodiaq rs which has torque of 500nm

Im using Vento Diesel for 10 years now. I have sucked out of my car but it didn't reciprocate. Grow up. German cars. Are only once to last longest

Why car makers like Skoda, Volkswagen, Suzuki, Nissan, Renault not giving diesel engine options while Mahindra, Tata, Hyundai, Kia, Honda giving?
Because they are having german engineered engins which are more reliable and refined than Indian diesel engines
