I'm going through the exact same dilemma 😓
Damn, that last part where you were talking about dealing with harsh,confusing emotions while trying to juggle your present life hit hard. I relate to it a lot, as it's basically the same struggle I've been dealing with for the past months. It's confusing and frustrating, as you want to feel your emotions and not ignore them, but then you also need to remember that what you are feeling is temporary and not the reality of things. It's so easy to go down that spiral. And also it's hard to take care of your emotional state and process what is going on with you while still showing up for yourself and others.
It's like having two jobs (sometimes it feels like more then 2).
But we will learn how to maintain balance.
Whoever also relates to this, remember- it will be okay. Being a human is confusing. You are okay.

I feel like Taz is someone I will never outgrow. I’ve been following her since her spoken poetry days and I never get tired of her. Her contents are still the same but at the same time different idk it feels like we are growing up together

I've lost count of the amount of times I've ended up crying watching Taz. I just wanna give her a hug sometimes. I feel so much of the problems that she shares and I'm glad she feels comfortable with her audience enough to share what she does. It hurts every time she says "Please know that you matter" cos every time I reply in my head, "no, I don't"
Sorry to bring a downer on things. I guess I'm in my feels, n felt I wanted to share my thoughts somewhere.

Long time fan, and I also spent 7 years at Uni doing a double degree, studying law and business (I know from quite a few past videos that you also studied Law), and now after having children, sadly I haven't been able to get back into it, things just haven't worked out that way and I had to choose to stay home with my babies, who I absolutely adore and wouldn't change for the world, but for a while there I was really down and out about that, I was so worried about "wasting" my studies and all those years and expectations from everyone, like I know you've previously struggled with, but from watching your video's over the years, you have taught me that that might all be a blessing in disguise, watching you become so unregrettably yourself and so successful and more importantly, just so much happier and confident, just doing you, has honestly given me so so much hope and strength. You honestly have no idea how much you've helped me gain a much more positive perspectice, by just watching you do it by yourself, for yourself.
I'm certain you'll never reply, and that's completely fine, my goal was just to hope for you to see this and know about another person's life and perspective you've completely changed, probably without even meaning to. You're amazing and I truly, truly wish you all the very best, for as long as you keep posting them, I'll never not watch your videos ❤️. I dont like when people say "the world needs more people like you", I'd prefer to say, I hope people who are struggling to see the world as a better place, come and find you, to learn and reflect, and make themselves better people for themselves, ultimate benefitting the world.
P.s. It's 3am here and I'm completely sleep deprived and up with a newborn, so apolgoies if I dont make any sense, I'm always just so happy and greatful when you post 🙏.

I can't believe you replied to this, I literally barely made sense, re-reading what I wrote. I've had so much loss in my family, and for whatever reason, your videos give me so much peace and calm. I just love your personality and your whole aurora, let alone that you even replied to my rambles! You feel like such a comforting and safe space (clearly 😅, because otherwise I would've never said any of that to anyone), thank you for being so authentically yourself. You truly have no idea how much you help people like me, or maybe you do have some idea because of the amount of honest and pure comments you receive, but you honestly deserve so much more. You're such a beautiful soul, and I know that sounds so cliche and like I'm just a crazy fan, but you are. Hope you feel better soon. Some tips when you’re unwell, take lots of vitamin c (10000 iu) or cut half an onion and stick it under your feet covered with a sock; use it when you’re asleep

Taz, i feel ya on being ill.
I caught a bug in the hospital just over 2 weeks ago. I was throwing up, runny nose, catarrh & mucus.. all those unpleasant things. Lately ive been having headaches, migraines, high temperature, ear ache, generally feel ill... It downright sucks. Im so over it already.
Rub some vicks on your chest to sleep at night, gargle with sea salt water, take paracetamol, maybe go for a bath, use the steam to help ease your cold. Even take some vitamins if you have any & keep up with your veg like you said aswell.

Sorry you have been sick... Sitting here in bed watching you while I'm also sick. This cold/flu that is making the rounds is awful! Glad you are on the mend. I find your mental health analysis really helpful. I think I try really really hard to ignore my feelings and struggle when people say I should explore them. But listening to you, it made some kind of sense to me. I know everything is ok, and I'm in a really privileged position, I just don't think I was taught at a young age how to deal with emotions and being one of your older followers, I'm probably the wrong generation to be in touch with my feelings 🤦🏽♀️ but I'm learning. Thanks for the video, it was great as always.

Hi Taz, I loved your video as always. The end about remembering you're not alone and this a moment was very helpful as I'm coming to crips with dealing with agressive cancer diagnosis. A words of advice, if I may. Please try to reduce bad eating (sugars etc.), stress less and sleep more. Those are some of the factors that has affected my condition.
When I feel sick I def can’t wear thermal stuff it makes me too hot especially with a cold
I feel like pre-summer is always a wild time for me. I'm always going through something rough or hard that I have to work on, which is perfect because it aligns with my assignment due dates so you can imagine it's a really fun time(!)
