Some years ago, when I was dealing with some particularly stressful things...the thought came to me..."If I could just touch the hem of his garment." This thought that came from scripture...that I hadn't even looked at a lot over the years (Matthew 19:20-21) about Jesus healing a woman who had been bleeding for 12 years and was an outcast. These words from scripture come back to me at times and help me to remember who my Savior, Healer and "Lover of my soul" is. 🙏🏼Prayers for you, Chynna, as you work through this struggle, this confusion, this wondering and waiting. I let this guy who I thought was my friend and was down on his luck sleeping outdoors in a tent in the freezing cold, stay with me because he asked. He wound up stealing THOUSANDS of dollars when of stuff from me including a $2,600 beautiful Zager 12 string guitar! That’s just the tip of the iceberg! A break up after five years and more heartbreak piled on but we reconciled. I have proof that he did it but the police don’t care. I’m so sorry for your brother in law. It’s ridiculous! If someone is committed to his/her walk with God, he will lead him to this exact same place. God led me to this place six years ago. And I repented for everything I could think of. We are far more sinful than we ever realize. And we are so blessed that the shed blood of Jesus cleanses us when we confess and repent of our sin.❤🙏❤️
Needing Jesus mercy today. Struggling with an adult son who has ocd/scrupulosity and we are living traumatised by him daily. It's such a terrifying situation to be in. Believing Jesus will bring him through this and his life will be used to bring glory to God. Just need the strength to keep going until that day 🙏
I had a dear friend who went through this and she said it was hell on Earth and she never thought she would get out of it but it took her about 10 years to finally come to the truth that she didn't need to live like that that's not the way God wanted her to live and she was free in Christ and she didn't have to live perfect because Jesus already made her perfect regardless of what she did or didn't do. It's all about faith in Christ and what he did and all he needs to do is to believe on him and not make it difficult. People will make it difficult and it's hard to find the truth out there but if he stays in the King James version and not the newer translations which are wrong I pray and hope that him standing on the foundation of grace through faith will bring him healing as it did her eventually
I am so sorry to hear about your son. Having lived with ocd, I know it is hell on earth. No matter how hard I tried, there were times when I could NOT stop the thoughts. I just could not do it. What helped me? Many things… prayer from committed Christians was huge; not only limiting stress, but managing it; diet; sleep; exercise; sun… many of the same things that help other mental illnesses. And yes, medication. Of course, this is controversial for some and is a personal decision. However, it can be life saving. My brother also struggles with OCD and my mother (who has walked with the Lord for more than 50 years) begged him to take medication for years. He finally started Zoloft and the change has been amazing. Yes, he still struggles at times but he is not tormented anymore. There is some research being done on metabolic medicine for the brain. People with such severe illnesses as bi-polar and schizophrenia are finding symptom relief with diet. I am not saying there cannot be spiritual causes, but we also have bodies with chemical systems. One note: people with OCD tend to struggle with perfectionism so GRACE is key. I’m sure Betty means well re: the King James, but legalistic thinking will only make ocd worse. You didn’t mention what kind of medical treatment your son is receiving, but I hope he is working with a qualified medical team. And I hope this helps you in some way. ❤ oh… and stay off the phone. It is so bad for the brain!
@@CherryB645 thank you for your reply. Sadly at the moment his brain is so badly non functioning that he has no rationality in it to comprehend the truth. I can say to him over and over again God is love, God is the same yesterday today and forever, He will never leave you or forsake you, when you know and accept Jesus you are sealed in the Holy Spirit, God IS love etc. But he has verses to counter argue every truth. He cries out saying he hates god and hates himself. He thinks God has done everything bad to him on purpose because he is sinful and disobedient. It's a mental torment. But over the past couple of years, when things were good, he had been prayed over many times and God spoke to him saying he was called for a purposes and he was actually starting to look into going into ministry. This is how active the devil is, and what is really shocking is it's real. The devil does come to kill steal and destroy, it is a daily battlefield and you must wear your armour. But for now my job is to give him so much love and compassion, to support him in his mental anguish.
There’s a priest that said that God appreciates every time we come to him (he was referring to when I go to confession). I want to always draw nearer to God. Sometimes I’m afraid that I’m going in the wrong direction but I don’t mean to do it on purpose. I feel like I’m in a similar place but know that I will always believe. I like to use affirmative prayer to kind of buffer me before I leave the house and have to face all the bird flippers. Then it's like water rolling off my back. I'm 60 years old, and the young people have no mercy. You've got to be spiritually ready to face whatever can come your way.

Chynna - God’s Timing is Amazing!!! This is what I’m going through also!! I feel very humbled and my focus on how aware I am of my “sinful nature” the flesh! And knowing that as a believer- I am being watched not only by others around me - but the Holy Spirit is watching me from “within” and I am very aware of His presence and His guidance to help me each moment of the day - to move away from the things of the world that I know will not satisfy me and really “SURRENDER “ those areas ans thoughts to Him. He will change me to be more like Jesus if I will truly trust and obey! He really loves me and He really loves you and all of us!! After watching the rest of this video....I watched the first 6-7 min then had to break off to go into a store....that part at the end where you were specifically requesting prayer for yourself and then proceeded to close by praying that beautiful heartfelt prayer for everybody my first thought was man when I get home the first thing I'm gonna do straight away is get Chynna on my prayer list which I pray over every evening to close out the day. This was followed by my next thought which was Chynna Phillips Baldwin is exactly what this world needs in these times....this woman of God who week in and week out bares her soul before the world on her channel in an effort to help other souls get thru....even if just for another day. I've been subscribed to this channel for a couple of years now and it's more sincere and transparent and authentic than a lot of the well financed Christian channels that are out there. Finally it really hit me - if God forbid anything ever happened to Chynna to where we somehow ended up losing her it would hit so devastatingly hard at the deepest levels and I've never even met her and THAT my friend is what you mean to not only your subscribers but to all who know and love you and that's a pretty big club right there. I have placed you on my nightly prayer list and heading into my prayer session now so KNOW you're being prayed for not just this day in which you've specifically asked for prayer but EVERY day. We sometimes think the grass on greener on the other side, when it's just really like a mirage. I remember in the beginning of my trials I used to ask God, "why isn't anyone else I know suffering like I am?" Why do they get to have a good life or a nice home, etc...? I was chosen by Jesus to go through these trials so that one day I will be with Him. As much as I hated going through many years of fear, confusion, mental health issues, I now consider myself blessed and I'm thankful because I now see why I went through this traumatic experience, Jesus needed me to see HIm, trust Him, love HIm, and to let me know He is my Lord and Savior. I see people on tv or RUclips, etc...., and I'm concerned about what I see and what's going on out in this crazy world we live in. I'm still learning discipline and finding time to just sit and be with Jesus. Repenting from even the smallest sin, (if there is such a thing), isn't easy, but we need to ask Jesus to help us to stop. Keep persevering because it won't happen overnight. He is faithful in His promises. Thank you, Chyna, for your channel here on RUclips.

I have lost all my siblings and parents since 2015 most recently my brother in October...I am so tired of losing people I love. Life is full of death and it sucks....I need a Jesus hug right now I just lost my cat June 7 and she was the best cat that ever lived.
I love the original King James version. The purest unedited version is the best. After all, once you are born again, it's the Holy Spirit that teaches and guides you. Before I gave my life to Jesus, the Bible was pure gibberish to me. I thought, how can anyone understand this stuff. I might as well have been reading Chinese... but once I was born again/born in the Spirit, the Bible was a whole new book. He feeds us more as we grow in our love and desire to worship the true and living God. Praise be to Jesus.
Please Share how Important it is to ONLY READ THE KJV BIBLE!! Since it is The True Word!! No Modern! No Contemporary! Only One True Word! Why Would The Lord Have Different Versions!! We are not to add or take away from The Word!
KJV is good but lots of other versions contain all the same truths and are easier to understand. I use the NIV and love it and I was king James for 20 years.

If you go into a grocery store, whatever, you try to smile at people, and they look at you like you are weird. I will try to smile more anyway. Great video.

Guess what?! I find it IN CHURCH!! Just about get “the bird” in church! People think I have no problems. If I am too happy, if I am praying for joy and being joyful INSPITE of all that is going on in my life, people think I don’t have any problems!! The women are the worst! They hate you! What is UP with that?! I pray for them but it’s hard. People’s perceptions are so frustrating! My GOSH! MORE than faith, MORE than love, the TRUE sign of a Christian is JOY!! JOY!!!!! Joy in the face of this LIFE!! We have a man in our church in his 90’s who stormed the beaches of Normandy and has outlived 2 of his 3 children and HE IS THE HAPPIEST MAN and inspiration you could ever meet!! He is JOYFUL in spite of what life has given him - what the Lord has allowed! I heard a woman say that Phil doesn’t seem to have any problems!! This was in a woman’s Bible study class. I said, What?? He stormed the beaches of Normandy! He’s outlived 2 of his 3 sons!! Phil’s joy - Phil’s LOOKING AS IF HE HAS NO PROBLEMS means he is gets it! He is CHRIST-like. He “gets” the Holy Spirit! He should be admired and our inspiration!! And I promise I said it with care. I wanted to scream it. But I don’t dare. Again people’s perceptions are their own: they think you’re prettier, smarter, have a better looking more successful husband, smart kids, more money, and you can forget it. It doesn’t mean ANY of that is true. BUT, if it’s their perception of you, then you have NO problems and literally not just on the road, but IN the church - Satan is in the pews.
Women of different ages and circumstances that can be overwhelmed by complex life setbacks and the more advanced the age it can be effected by hormonal changes or changes in fund availablity after responsibilites and demands. Stop thinking how you feel and your problems. Ask a question. Like how do you make low budget meals? Everything is going up. I'm not asking for steak? A little humor. Maybe fishes and loaves lord? Everyones life experiences are different. And everyone has periods of feeling defeated . I remember working at the service desk at Kmart. A woman was angry I was smiling. I asked would you like to speak to a manager? Yes she said sharply. He told her oh she didn't mean nothing she is just a smiley girl. What can I do for you he asked? The woman dropped her anger that instant.

Needing Jesus mercy today. Struggling with an adult son who has ocd/scrupulosity and we are living traumatised by him daily. It's such a terrifying situation to be in. Believing Jesus will bring him through this and his life will be used to bring glory to God. Just need the strength to keep going until that day 🙏
I had a dear friend who went through this and she said it was hell on Earth and she never thought she would get out of it but it took her about 10 years to finally come to the truth that she didn't need to live like that that's not the way God wanted her to live and she was free in Christ and she didn't have to live perfect because Jesus already made her perfect regardless of what she did or didn't do. It's all about faith in Christ and what he did and all he needs to do is to believe on him and not make it difficult. People will make it difficult and it's hard to find the truth out there but if he stays in the King James version and not the newer translations which are wrong I pray and hope that him standing on the foundation of grace through faith will bring him healing as it did her eventually
I am so sorry to hear about your son. Having lived with ocd, I know it is hell on earth. No matter how hard I tried, there were times when I could NOT stop the thoughts. I just could not do it. What helped me? Many things… prayer from committed Christians was huge; not only limiting stress, but managing it; diet; sleep; exercise; sun… many of the same things that help other mental illnesses. And yes, medication. Of course, this is controversial for some and is a personal decision. However, it can be life saving. My brother also struggles with OCD and my mother (who has walked with the Lord for more than 50 years) begged him to take medication for years. He finally started Zoloft and the change has been amazing. Yes, he still struggles at times but he is not tormented anymore. There is some research being done on metabolic medicine for the brain. People with such severe illnesses as bi-polar and schizophrenia are finding symptom relief with diet. I am not saying there cannot be spiritual causes, but we also have bodies with chemical systems. One note: people with OCD tend to struggle with perfectionism so GRACE is key. I’m sure Betty means well re: the King James, but legalistic thinking will only make ocd worse. You didn’t mention what kind of medical treatment your son is receiving, but I hope he is working with a qualified medical team. And I hope this helps you in some way. ❤ oh… and stay off the phone. It is so bad for the brain!

@@CherryB645 thank you for your reply. Sadly at the moment his brain is so badly non functioning that he has no rationality in it to comprehend the truth. I can say to him over and over again God is love, God is the same yesterday today and forever, He will never leave you or forsake you, when you know and accept Jesus you are sealed in the Holy Spirit, God IS love etc. But he has verses to counter argue every truth.
He cries out saying he hates god and hates himself. He thinks God has done everything bad to him on purpose because he is sinful and disobedient. It's a mental torment.
But over the past couple of years, when things were good, he had been prayed over many times and God spoke to him saying he was called for a purposes and he was actually starting to look into going into ministry. This is how active the devil is, and what is really shocking is it's real.
The devil does come to kill steal and destroy, it is a daily battlefield and you must wear your armour.
But for now my job is to give him so much love and compassion, to support him in his mental anguish.

Chynna - God’s Timing is Amazing!!! This is what I’m going through also!! I feel very humbled and my focus on how aware I am of my “sinful nature” the flesh! And knowing that as a believer- I am being watched not only by others around me - but the Holy Spirit is watching me from “within” and I am very aware of His presence and His guidance to help me each moment of the day - to move away from the things of the world that I know will not satisfy me and really “SURRENDER “ those areas ans thoughts to Him. After watching the rest of this video....I watched the first 6-7 min then had to break off to go into a store....that part at the end where you were specifically requesting prayer for yourself and then proceeded to close by praying that beautiful heartfelt prayer for everybody my first thought was man when I get home the first thing I'm gonna do straight away is get Chynna on my prayer list which I pray over every evening to close out the day.
This was followed by my next thought which was Chynna Phillips Baldwin is exactly what this world needs in these times....this woman of God who week in and week out bares her soul before the world on her channel in an effort to help other souls get thru....even if just for another day.
I've been subscribed to this channel for a couple of years now and it's more sincere and transparent and authentic than a lot of the well financed Christian channels that are out there.
Finally it really hit me - if God forbid anything ever happened to Chynna to where we somehow ended up losing her it would hit so devastatingly hard at the deepest levels and I've never even met her and THAT my friend is what you mean to not only your subscribers but to all who know and love you and that's a pretty big club right there.

We sometimes think the grass on greener on the other side, when it's just really like a mirage.
I remember in the beginning of my trials I used to ask God, "why isn't anyone else I know suffering like I am?" Why do they get to have a good life or a nice home, etc...? I was chosen by Jesus to go through these trials so that one day I will be with Him. As much as I hated going through many years of fear, confusion, mental health issues, I now consider myself blessed and I'm thankful because I now see why I went through this traumatic experience, Jesus needed me to see HIm, trust Him, love HIm, and to let me know He is my Lord and Savior.
I see people on tv or RUclips, etc...., and I'm concerned about what I see and what's going on out in this crazy world we live in. I'm still learning discipline and finding time to just sit and be with Jesus. Repenting from even the smallest sin, (if there is such a thing), isn't easy, but we need to ask Jesus to help us to stop. Keep persevering because it won't happen overnight. He is faithful in His promises. Thank you, Chyna, for your channel here on RUclips.

I love the original King James version. The purest unedited version is the best. After all, once you are born again, it's the Holy Spirit that teaches and guides you. Before I gave my life to Jesus, the Bible was pure gibberish to me. I thought, how can anyone understand this stuff. I might as well have been reading Chinese... but once I was born again/born in the Spirit, the Bible was a whole new book. He feeds us more as we grow in our love and desire to worship the true and living God. Praise be to Jesus.

Guess what?! I find it IN CHURCH!! Just about get “the bird” in church! People think I have no problems. If I am too happy, if I am praying for joy and being joyful INSPITE of all that is going on in my life, people think I don’t have any problems!! The women are the worst! They hate you! What is UP with that?! I pray for them but it’s hard. People’s perceptions are so frustrating! My GOSH! MORE than faith, MORE than love, the TRUE sign of a Christian is JOY!! JOY!!!!! Joy in the face of this LIFE!! We have a man in our church in his 90’s who stormed the beaches of Normandy and has outlived 2 of his 3 children and HE IS THE HAPPIEST MAN and inspiration you could ever meet!! He is JOYFUL in spite of what life has given him - what the Lord has allowed! I heard a woman say that Phil doesn’t seem to have any problems!! This was in a woman’s Bible study class. I said, What?? He stormed the beaches of Normandy! He’s outlived 2 of his 3 sons!! Phil’s joy - Phil’s LOOKING AS IF HE HAS NO PROBLEMS means he is gets it! He is CHRIST-like. He “gets” the Holy Spirit! He should be admired and our inspiration!! And I promise I said it with care. I wanted to scream it. But I don’t dare. Again people’s perceptions are their own: they think you’re prettier, smarter, have a better looking more successful husband, smart kids, more money, and you can forget it. It doesn’t mean ANY of that is true. BUT, if it’s their perception of you, then you have NO problems and literally not just on the road, but IN the church - Satan is in the pews.
Women of different ages and circumstances that can be overwhelmed by complex life setbacks and the more advanced the age it can be effected by hormonal changes or changes in fund availablity after responsibilites and demands. Stop thinking how you feel and your problems. Ask a question. Like how do you make low budget meals? Everything is going up. I'm not asking for steak? A little humor. Maybe fishes and loaves lord? Everyones life experiences are different. And everyone has periods of feeling defeated . I remember working at the service desk at Kmart. A woman was angry I was smiling. I asked would you like to speak to a manager? Yes she said sharply. He told her oh she didn't mean nothing she is just a smiley girl. What can I do for you he asked? The woman dropped her anger that instant.
