Dragon Quest doesn't have easy bosses in the late game. Also there's ways to circumvent the sheer damage by equipping multiple pieces of gear at once that have Frizz, Crack and Boom resistances, of which there's plenty in the mid game, and which reduce those damages by percentages instead of flat rates, as Defense has a cap and only prevents 1 point of damage per 2 points of defense. Robes tend to give good resistances against magic, but the best stuff to resist it is magical armor and magical shields. In Dragon quest, Defense as a stat eventually becomes less important then magic resistant gear, which squishy mage classes don't have access to and generally wear less gear then the meatier classes, which is why you pack a party of more then one class.
@blob23ful green +1 next to your level means one revocation. revocation is resetting your class from level 99 to level 1. btw, big yellow star next to your level means 10 revocations.
sorry i don't have lvl1 luminaries, they are too weak to fight zoma. usually i don't take requests using luminaries/minstrels but if that's your birthday wish, i will do it:D thank you for the sub.

So (I warn you it's boring) To unlock the treasure map of nimzo you must first beat psaro, to unlock the treasue map of psaro you have to beat dracolord and to unlock the treasure map of dracolord you have to beat greynarl (on find it in the classic treasure map of lv 90 to 100) here is good luck ! sorry for my bad english i'm french

it's a gradual process at first for leveling. find MKS first. keep beating grotto's until you get a high level Water one. there is no "easy way" to level up unless you use cheats. i take all members (up to 3), MKSs/PKJs are great for level grinding.

Aston Games sages usually go near to last, I'm thinking they maxed out the martial artist to get the plus 90 to agility, thats what I did for my gladiator and paladin
