I did my research and bought the 12 inch tops and 18 bottoms, could not be happier! I use them mostly for sound for bands and have had nothing but good luck and complements on the sound quality, also love the look and the quality of the cabinets are incredible for the price! Get you some LD systems!

I was truly surprised when these two tops came in last week and the amount of clear sound that they threw. I’m definitely going to be buying the 18”subs to complement them at my weddings this year. I’m going to retire my k12.2’s. These things hit harder and sound so much more fuller than the QSC system. Thx again Nick 🔥

Wow that’s crazy finally something that beats out the qsc tops that says a lot I’m super curious now to hear these tops I’m die hard qsc and I don’t mind switching as long as these Ld’s deliver and are reliable I wonder what kind of warranty they have in definitely looking into these it’s a company around my way here in VA that swears by the Presonus Air series speakers as being the qsc killers saying that they are louder and cleaner but I’m willing to put my money on LD Systems!

He said no other sub bumps like this but he has not heard the ALTO TS18S for $699. The Alto also has a higher DB output of 137 and does the same 29hz without running out of breath like he said the Icoa did when pushing them hard. You could save more money and get a louder/better setup.
Same with the Alto ts415. It's $399 and also has a higher DB output than the Icoa 15 for $600.
But I'd be interested in hearing these vs my homeboys TS412's & TS18S.
    Ts412 - $349 - 2500w - 132db
    TS18S - $699 - 2500w - 137db - 29hz

Interesting never tried the tops , but tried both of their 15” subs ( Stinger & Icoa) and they are not very loud the Red limit light comes on way too quick (the 18” are obviously better with 4” coils but very heavy) ended up buying the Wharfedale DELTA-AX15B 15” subs they have 4” voice coils and sound loud & great, I think LD need to bring better 15” models out that are not too far off their 18” models.

Have you guys ever wondered what the real agenda is behind denying you the right to own quality loudspeakers? Here it is: its because quality loudspeakers are heavy. Because they are heavy and its hard to carry them around, carrying them around makes your muscles grow if you do everything by the book and follow their instruction manuals. It makes you stronger so you can help each other carry things which weigh the same. And that is what the guys who are scared of you buying louder speakers are so scared of. Nick´s review is excellent. Its on point. I live in a three floor house which does not currently need speakers like this, so I´m more like a Focal, Mackie, JBL guy who prefers party box speakers or even speakers like this instead of low quality ones. Congratulations to you for your new speakers! Kind regards from Ásgeir in Iceland.

I have a pair of LD Systems ICOA SUB18A and they're supplementing my Quad ESL 2912 electrostatic loudspeakers in my main listening room. They're fast, precise and loud, their low end is mind-blowing, it is an amazing subwoofer.
They will shit allover much higher priced subwoofers.
Should there be anyone who is looking for a quality musical subwoofer that can be used in a home HiFi system, try them. Words can't express how good they perform. Have an audition and see for yourself.
Now I'm looking forward getting a pair of the smaller LD Systems ICOA SUB15A subwoofers to compliment my baby Tannoy Professional i8 Dual Concentric full range speakers for my man cave, they will pair perfectly. I am an audiophile, however I do recognise that Professional audio can sound great, good as a high end HiFi system. Speakers and amplifiers need to be matched correctly. Some of these speakers due to their high efficiency, can be powered by a 20watt tube amplifier without issues and play very loud inside a living room maintaining their quality sound signature.

Yesterday i heard them and the top are not taht good, too much high end end too hyped, the low mid is not smooth. The overall sound is warm (not the smooth warm), and just can be a pain to listen to, qscs speakers are just smooth, deep, clean and much more calm sounding.

Good to see LD system being recognized in the US! I’m from France and I’ve been using their product for the last 8 years.
The best speaker brand for the money trust me, the quality is there across the all catalogue.

LD Systems column array speakers have been becoming more popular over here the last few years. In fact I think to even call yourself a wedding DJ it's a requirement that you own at least one LD Maui 5 go for ceremonies. That seems to be the go to choice.

I am a proud owner of 4 of these LD tops and boy do they rock. The only mistake i made when purchasing was i got a different brand of subs due to budget limitations and so i am unable to enjoy the full power of LD Ecosystem. I am curious to know what mode you chose for the LD tops when connected with the subs (Flat/Satellite or Full Range) and whether you used the EQ's from the back (like on the LED screen or you just chose a mode and then EQ'ed from the mixer). Thanks for your review

This is the only reason why I still use QSC Kw series tops & K12’s because no matter what subs I use all I have to do I go to the back of the qsc top and flip the switch to sub and it instantly cuts the bass out of the tops and I’m ready to go!
