The glossier the bullet formula, more it will transfer n fade off. I have Mac satin, frosted, lustreglass, matte, ultra matte n powderkiss finishes. Of these lustreglass doesn't last even popcorn. But others last a heavy indian meal, needs light retouch, without mirror. Super formula, long lasting, worth every penny.
These are traditional bullet lipsticks, if you want transferproof, Mac has transferproof ones.
Price has increased as import duty has increased. What I used to buy 1850 is now 2300/- in Mac. Mini used to be 900, now double.
But there are costlier brands than Mac now. Mac is still classic, but old school now.

I feel the same too. Its the same as any other lipsticks.. it doesnt stay long and as it is not smudge proof.. but the brand is we all see.. cos MAC has been considered the fantastic brand in cosmetic industry..and so many are obsessed with MAC and so i am..
