I have a problem keeping the jump ring closed and tucked in. Do you have any suggestions for that?
You can make sure the flat wire around the jump ring is snug, but not too snug that you can't move the ring. Once the opening of the ring is centred in the flat wire give it a pinch so it won't move. Hope this helps.

That ring is adorable! I would like to know though....does the metal discolor your finger?
Thank you. The Artistic wire is tarnish resistant and covered with a protective coating. I wouldn't wear the ring in the pool or shower though.

I wrapped the bead on the jump ring, then hid the wrapping with the wider wire…so many design options!

I love this style ring Heather I want to know is the flat wire very hard or is it soft enough to mould around the mandrel I have lots of this flat wire which isn’t beadalon so was wondering x
Thanks Vera. You can mold the 3mm flat Artistic wire around a mandrel. The 5mm is a bit stiff, but good for bracelets. There are also flat aluminum wires available that are very soft! Good luck.
Hello, can you please tell us how to cover our pliers to keep from scratching wires
Hi Deanna: Some people use a dip like Plastidip and some cover the tips with tape. I prefer to use good quality stainless steel pliers and go lightly with them. I do as much pushing and bending with my fingers as possible. You can also buy nylon jaw pliers like these ones from Beadalon. Check out their new product line with nylon jaw pliers and inner nylon jaw pliers www.beadalon.com/products/new_products.aspGood luck.
