Oh my gosh. I have loved these guys since I was in the 4th grade on. I had all their albums until I lost them in a fire on Dec 22, 2004. Like any family they have had their ups and downs. It was probably even harder being as popular as they were. They have aged, we have aged together with them. Such wholesome fun. Great music. They were part of my childhood. I found out I had Tourette’s later in life. Back in the 60s in the 70s we always thought it was something that I would grow out of so we didn’t tell the doctors. I found out about 20-22 years ago. I just love them all together!!! I love how the boys all tease each other but when Marie talks they all respect and listen to her. Such a sweet and talented family
My goodness! The voices, and the harmony is remarkable!!! The Osmonds really should have had more recognition than they did. What an outstanding family! ❤
I think they were ahead of their time - that is why. It’s only now when people have grown older and have a wider appreciation of music, that more and more people suddenly like The Osmonds, and are amazed at what they actually sounded like. They had excellent voices and were a wonderful crossover from the crooner style of singing to the younger preferences of R&B, or rock and pop. They were just wonderful and never lost that. The Osmonds gave a span of many generations of their fans, great entertainment!
Can't express my love and thanks to such a wonderful family and musical group. Have followed you since I was 11 years old. Now I'm almost 62yr and still can't get enough. Xxxxx
This was 23 minutes of solid fun!!! What a great family! They clearly love each other. Very touching. 🤍 With the way Donny was acting, I can only imagine the wrestling matches that happened in their house growing up. Lol. He's crazy.
Always warms my heart to watch the Osmonds. They are so talented & really didn't get the recognition they deserved. I'm sure there is no other group with such longevity.
@@paulbradley705 the Osmonds sold over 100 million albums worldwide and have 59 gold and platinum albums to their credit. I thoroughly agree on that In America and the UK, except for one group who has had an album in the top twenty continuously for 40 years - and that is ABBA. Not only that, they had a HUGE comeback in 2021 with their first album in 40 years, out of which 3 songs made it to 1 & 2 on the charts in 43 countries. The album made it to the top of the charts in 63 countries. They continue to be the best-selling group of all time, outselling the Beatles. (However, Beatles fans may argue with that)
I remember seeing Donnie's first appearance with his brothers on the Andy Williams show in the 60's. That family makes my heart sing because at my age that's the only thing left that can sing. Thanks for the memories.
Those early 1970's "Os-days" were THE BEST! So many wonderful memories and friends made along the way during those few magical years (13,14, 15, 16)...wish we could go back, if only for awhile... The Osmonds should, in my opinion, receive some type of recognition for their tremendous contribution to American music, and The Kennedy Center Honors would be the perfect "vehicle" to honor them in the most appropriate manner. They were always a most special, special family...prayers and good thoughts for them always...
Got to go back stage and meet them in person in 1978 in mobile Alabama. I have a picture of them with my two oldest children who were 3 and 2 at the time. What amazing performers!
Never another family like the Osmonds. So special, so talented, and a moral example in a very sick and immoral industry. So much love and fun in that family! Love them so much! Keep bringing us music!

Yes, I know this is 23 yrs old, but Donny's not only still a talented singer/entertainer, he's a great back-row conductor, giving Marie 3 tries to find her charm, which she ultimately did, while keeping all on-key thru the sheer force of his will. Andy Williams was a tough drill-sergeant - a perfectionist like my old high school band director (who would eventually lose his hearing). The fact that they can pull off complex jazz harmonies acapella after many years apart, plus serious health concerns, is testament to his, and of course, their parents', fine tutelage in their formative yrs. Slightly rusty, yes, but the focus accompanying a lifetime of solid musicianship shines thru, nonetheless.
I follow Jimmy's kids on Instagram. Arthur posted a couple of pics of his dad, since the stroke! Jimmy has hair as white as Merrill's and looks gorgeous! He js standing on his own, and doesn't look to have any residual physical effects from the stroke. ...which I wouldn't care if he did. He is my favorite, forever! Love him!
This just made my day to see this. Back when I was a young lady, in Montgomery, Alabama two of my very close friends and myself got to see the Osmonds in concert. We had pictures made with Alan, Wayne, and Merrill earlier in the afternoon. I took a picture of their parents too. Marie was only 12 years old at the time. I treasure my pictures so much and appreciate the time they shared with us. I love each of them.
I loved every minute of this♥️. What a joy to see them together! We saw them in Branson, and my husband and I met their mother! I love and adore this family!!

What struck me about this reunion is how Alan & Wayne talked about their health struggles, but now Jimmy has suffered himself the past few years. It reminded me of a close friend who was diagnosed cancer 30 years ago & I helped him get through it while believing he might not make it. Today he is healthier than I am and helps me through my recent health challenges. Never give up because one day you will be there to help those who helped you survive.
According to Jimmy's kids, their dad is recovering well, from his stroke, 2 years ago. He is jogging and painting! His son posted a pic of him last year on Insta, and Jimmy looks gorgeous...trim, with white hair like Merrill! Still my favorite!

What a blast from the past! I enjoyed the Donny and Marie variety show back in the 1970's when I was growing up, and their talk show as well. While I didn't get to see them perform in Las Vegas, I did get to see Marie perform twice. Once at the Ordway Theatre in St Paul, when she was in "The Sound of Music", and in concert at Grand Casino Mille Lacs. I enjoy this so so much. 3 of my favorite ppl I grew up with.💖💖💖
After a night of partying, singing, and dancing with my own family, I am so glad to recover with The Osmond Family Reunion episode of The Donny and Marie talk show. I was looking forward to this bittersweet and nostalgic episode for so many reasons. One being seeing my main Osmond "dancing delight" go from adorable to seasoned within this episode.
Thank you so much for posting this high-quality episode Dave. Have a standing ovation Sunday and stay blessed. Sing out Osmond children...📺💙🧡🖤😏💚💜💟❤🎷🎼🌜🏞🙏🏾🕊🎶⛸🇸🇪🎸🎹🥁🤪🐎🙆🏿♀️🦞🥧🏋️♂️👨👩👧👦🌞🎵1️⃣👎🍎🚗🥲👏🏾🙌🏾💐
