I know this is gonna sounds really weird, but I LOVE the sound the soap cutter makes when it closes all the way. I have no idea why, but I really enjoy that sound.
Wow!! I love this soap and you did such a great instructional video on colors and layers. Thanks so much for taking the time to make a video, I am so glad when you and the other amazing soap makers on RUclips post a new video!
OMG Katie i love this soap, as u know im not into much of anythin thats not nail related!!! But i just LOVE watching ur videos. Your personality and ur ideas are amazballs =) xx
I put my ultra fine glitters in salt shakers and it helps me get a more even distribution , just thought I would share that little bit of info and I bought most of my shakers from yard sales and the good will so they ended up costing me next to nothing
that's such a good idea! I just bought one of those tea strainers - the kind where you squeeze the handle to open the mesh ball - for dusting mica, and that works well too. really fine distribution, and it was just a couple dollars at idea, though I've definitely seen them cheaper at yard sales 😊
Love your videos and am always excited when I see you have a new one. This Rainbow Soap info is fabulous. I love it when such knowledgeable people share their techniques. I learned something new: spraying CP with alcohol and making sure the recipe is not too "white" when using vibrant colors. Thanks so much, you are a gem!
Whew! Just in time! I was just about to make some rainbows and there you are...with all that great info. Your highness, you just saved my bacon! Lol thanks sooooooo much!
Am I the only one whose brain freaks out when she mixes them without cleaning the previous color off like I know it doesn’t change anything but my brain is like noooooo!
I just started watching your videos and they are fabulous. You're very engaging, and you don't have an annoying voice like some tubers I watch. Before last weekend, I had not soaped in 6 months. You really sparked my interest and desire to build my business. Thank you for being you. How do you store these types of soaps? Do you leave them sitting out before cutting or do you cover them somehow? Thank you.
I think that red is great - I have that Red Lake #30 and the various other reds you can mix with it. I've got that Raspberry Red on order. Nice soaps!!
Hi Katie! Couple of ?'s: 1) if I'm making a smaller batch, do I need to use less micas? And 2) you mentioned gelling your soap. With such high tops, how do you cover without squashing your soap? 3) when you're using MP embeds, either inside soap or on top, how do you prevent them from melting during gel? 4) do you use milk powder added to your oils? Thank you for sharing your info, and delightful personality :-)
Ahh your voice sounds so different in this video. So young and your accent doesn’t seem as heavy haha not at bad thing at all :) just an observation 💗 I loved this video so much 💗
I learned so much. Very informative! Did you put the fragrance in the other colors or just the blue? Thanks for taking the time to teach us . Great video!
Great tutorial!!! but I have a question. Doesn't a bastille soap take a very long time to cure? Is there any other recipe that would work well with this pouring method? Ive heard of deciding up the lye water and mixing it per color. thoughts? thank you!
bandm1 yes Bastille is best with a long (6-12 month) cure. I've seen other youtubers divide it up (I think Ariadne Arsenault?) and make 6 small batches of soap, that way you can just pour and let it set nice and hard and come back. It does mean measuring 6 lots of oil and 6 lots of lye, and having enough time to do that...
This is awesome! Your colors are just gorgeous! Just a heads up... on the end card your videos are switched. The video with "Previous video" under it is the glitter toe nail one on your other channel and the one with "Other Channel" under is your review of Lots of Love Always. :)
I cannot believe that. I seriously uploaded this one, saw that same error, fixed it, re uploaded it and deleted what I thought was the one with the error. Apparently, I deleted the RIGHT one. *sigh* This is just to remind me that I'm not perfect. lol
Where do you get your mixing bowl? Can do you put your lye solution in these bowls too or in a different one? The wooden molds where did you get these from and do the silicone liners come with the molds? Thanks for any help.
MUSICLOVERGIGGLES I got mine at the Dollar Store. You can put the lye solution in these because this particular plastic is strong enough to handle it. :)
I have noticed in all your videos you cut your liner to the edge of the mold. My question is, how to you get your soap out of the mold? Because you don't have liner to pull at to get it out. Thanks.
you have a beautiful face!! i made a pine tar beer acne soap for my sons and they wash everyday with it and there acne has really cleared up!! if u click on my name you can see how i made it and it works good... love your videos i watch them often!!!! be blessed!!
I know this is gonna sounds really weird, but I LOVE the sound the soap cutter makes when it closes all the way. I have no idea why, but I really enjoy that sound.
+MCRmyGeneral same here!
Thanks so much for turning me on to Nurtures Soap Supplies! I've never seen such bright colors with micas before!
Anyone else find these soap making videos super satisfying??

As always, beautiful and informative. Thank you for all the knowledge you graciously share!
Very cute and you nailed the clouds on the top pipping.
OMG Katie i love this soap, as u know im not into much of anythin thats not nail related!!! But i just LOVE watching ur videos.
Your personality and ur ideas are amazballs =) xx
Love the glitter it outlines the white and looks so pretty when you cut it
Do you teach classes? Or have you thought of teaching. I am in Houston and would love to take a "weekend" class 😊 love your soaps and videos!
Melissa Morris I don't as of right now but I'm thrilled to think you would take the class if I did! lol
Royalty Soaps If I lived close and you taught classes I would sign up in a heartbeat! I love your videos!
The algorithm has been sending me these old videos and omg Katie was practically a baby! She's so cute! 😂
Thank you very much for taking the time to show me how to make this soap! It is just beautiful!!

Can’t believe I never thought of this. Thank you.

Anyone else here in 2021 cheering on past Katie and trying to let her know she will someday not be making soap in her kitchen
Am I the only one whose brain freaks out when she mixes them without cleaning the previous color off like I know it doesn’t change anything but my brain is like noooooo!
Gorgeous soap!
As always great job.I think I have watched every video you have made they inspire me.

Years later but anyway... you can pop it into an oven on the lowest setting. Turn it off after 15 mins and leave overnight
wow, the colors are definitely bright...love it !!! and yes very informational video thanks for sharing with us... :)
PLEASE MAKE ANOTHER ONE OF THESE I LOVE THE WAY IT LOOKS
Absolutely beautiful and fun. Great video.
I love this tutorial !! I will try this very soon !!!!
Great layers!!
Pretty as always!!!
this is so gorgeous.
Thanks so much. This explains why my rainbow soap looked so faded!
I love your soaps maybe one day I will be able to remember to order one when I have a little extra money :)
The soap looks great!
Also, you're so so gorgeous wow
I think it'd be cool to see a soap with different layers of clear and colour in a pattern
Leonarda loved this video.
You are sooo funny. Good work with the colours.
The Great 2020 Rewatch :)
Wonderful video! Could you help us with making white.... stay white?
Katie, another quick question..do you make your own soap balls or buy them..they are perfect! Ty
omg this one is my fav!!!!!!!!!! it look so beautiful

Super cute !
Ahh your voice sounds so different in this video. So young and your accent doesn’t seem as heavy haha not at bad thing at all :) just an observation 💗 I loved this video so much 💗
Hi Katie, what size molds are you using? I am going to have hubby make me some. Thank you!!
I learned so much. Very informative! Did you put the fragrance in the other colors or just the blue? Thanks for taking the time to teach us . Great video!
Lajuana Bassett I put the fragrance in each color! Sorry that was a bit confusing there. :)
Wow, gorgeous! I'm not sure if I missed this but are the balls cp or mp?
Cool :) Love the colours :)
Beautiful!!!!

Ha! I totally do that kind of thing all the time! I'm probably the only person who would have noticed.
I want it so badly.
Just had to say, love your videos! I can imagine us soaping together, and it would be a blast! I think we have the same dollar store soaping bowls ;)
How many oz of oils do you use to just make the high top piping?
When you wash with glittered soap, does the glitter stay on you or does it wash down the drain?
Can I steal your brain? You're so darn creative!!! High five from sunny Cali :-)
You can buy the molds and silicone liners (and other supplies) online from Bramble Berry.
Can I ask also, what size are your balls on the top of your molds? Thanks.
i love your videos
Nice!
rubbing alcohol between the layers, what a great tip!
What size molds did you use?
Awesomeness
I have noticed in all your videos you cut your liner to the edge of the mold. My question is, how to you get your soap out of the mold? Because you don't have liner to pull at to get it out. Thanks.
tip the whole thing upside down and the silicone mold will just come out...
love this 😍😍😍😍😍👌👌👌👌👌👌
About how long between layers?
Can I adk if you have any luck on Pinterest and eysy???
I honestly don't understand why people put toppings on them... Is it just for decorative purposes? It seems like it'd make the soap harder to handle.
very one f your vids have this Stelara commercial right before your vid comes on...weird...every one of them...
Boootiful!
Where is the soap recipe?
you should make a video using house hold ingredients
you have a beautiful face!! i made a pine tar beer acne soap for my sons and they wash everyday with it and there acne has really cleared up!! if u click on my name you can see how i made it and it works good... love your videos i watch them often!!!! be blessed!!
How thick do you slice your soaps?
