Saw Rosie at Cambridge Folk Festival in the seventies. She blew me away. What a talent!

Saw Rosie at Manchester Uni 1980, a marvellous & touching night, bought the album EoBM from her afterwards, still got it. She always came across as someone with very low self-esteem, shame. I would like to tell her what a fine performer she was, & how we don't share her self-opinion. Those that heard/knew her had a very high opinion of her.

RIP Graham Cooper 29th May 2010... pity he can't be seen on this recording, though he can certainly be heard!
This song is about Martin Simpson...
I'm pleased to say I was one of the catalysts in getting Rosie back on stage for a few concerts with Coops. Another was the late Judy Hancock of Sad Pig... she's sorely missed.

If you like Rosie buy the album (or borrow or steal it) Eagle over Blue Mountain. I heard her in Blackpool and bought the album oh 25 years ago. To this day its one of the best engineered albums I have ever heard in 35 years on the road. From the lesley keyboard to the piano (on this song), the insane but brilliant opening voice on "Love's not a part of the deal". Didn't know you were still going love but so glad you are.
