Thank you very much for an excellent video. I wish I had a teacher like you when I did my HND in electronics, I might have finished it.
I have a similar problem with our Panasonic 40AS640B. The green light flashes and then goes solid and repeats this over and over again.
On rear occasions with button pressing it went to a solid red. There is no picture or sound screen flashes momentarily then stops.
I have never attempted a fix for a tv before. It looks like I am in the deep end with the leds.
