Crazy to think that Armani discontinued Code Absolu. One of the best winter fragrance ever made.

Dont have the OG armani code absolu bec. Its discontinued so when i saw this at fragrance world no hesitation to buy it the 1st time i smell this dupe i love it! So i bought another bottle for safe keeping.
Fragrance world seem to be propelling themselves into a lot of fragrance conversations of late, they know what they are doing quite clearly.

I got the Invictus Victory Elixir clone off fragbuy right when it dropped in a haul and man….I have a decant of the OG and it’s pretty spot on imo about 90% with great performance.

Idk. One thing i likwd about Armoni Code Absolu is that it didnt jump on the cinnamon band wagon. And Ash just said that the clone might have added cinnamon, ehh. I'll think about it.
It’s better when you open and spray then wait 24 hours for a real review of silage, performance, projections and skin interpretation as hours go by . I have bought so many on initial spray and comparison , but have been very disappointed on performance

Got mine at an airport duty free when it first came out. Glad I did because it’s still not available anywhere in the US still. Sometimes fragrancebuy and Fragrancenet do have them but they tend to sell out immediately. Also JPG’s website also has them listed on there now. Just put your email in to be notified when they come back in stock and try to grab it as soon as you can.

I really don't have a problem with clones and own a few, but when they so blatantly rip off the bottle, logos, or box designs I find it incredibly tacky.

The problem with clones is performance and longevity, even if they smell great. $40 on a frag that lasts 2 hours is a waste of money and space on the rack. Anyone care to testify as to how their experience with Fragrance World's clones longevity has been?
There are clones out there that has longevity of 6 to 8 hours some out some of Maison Alhambra clones

I have a collection of clones, designers, and niche. I find the performance can vary with clones just as much as it can with any other fragrance. Some last and perform, others don't. Just like designers and niche. I don't have anything in my collection that only last 2 hours. Remember, going noseblind is a real thing.
With that being said...I have two from Fragrance World. Hard Wood and Jack of Clubs. Both last 8+ hours and are above average in terms of projection and sillage. Both better then the originals I would say.

I love absolu especially initial spray in the air it is the best smelling fragrance to me but absolu gold smelled better on dry down compared to absolu.
