Just a common example of the algorithm failing good creators

Hey man! Hope you see this. Your an amazing content creator, love your persistence at a small size.
Extra praise goes to your excellent video on Oxenfree. With oxenfree 2 on the horizon, I really really hope it gets its big break again. The community has as you said really died down since the OG oxenfree dropped.

Spielberg didnt direct the Iron Giant. But he did have the giant return in Ready Player One though.

Not sure why I thought he did when writing this. Thanks for correcting me. Very odd mistake for me to make.

My favorite aspect of this movie is that it never tells you what happened to Hogarth's father. The only clue you're given is a long shot of a photograph of a man entering the cockpit of a plane, whom you can infer is Hogarth's father, who presumably was KIA
They could have easily put in some throwaway expository dialogue of Hogarth's mother saying, "I know things have been hard ever since your father blah blah blah something something the war." But they took the high road and let you, the viewer, come to your own conclusion. That alone speaks volumes and makes this movie feel more alive

That is something I didn't even notice, but you are 100% correct. This movie at no point talks down to the viewer, and that is a perfect example of that. I miss when kids movies weren't so watered down.

@@sirsurgenor It's a common writing mistake that is often overlooked, even in otherwise well written stories. Even in novels or movies I like there's also some lazily written tell Don show kind of dialogue like, "we've been friends for X-amount of years." It's sometimes hard to write around it

Son of Tiamat it’s the classic rule of show don’t tell
