FISHING for a FEED | CATCH AND COOK

Last weekend I spend the day 'fishing for a feed'. I ended up catching a feed of bream and flathead that I turned into beer batter fish and chips. It was a weekend filled with highs and lows.

If you get a chance try zerek live shrimp between the first boat ramp and jetty into stocko river all the way round to stocko ferry warf specially peppering the main corner man get heaps nice flattys there sometimes big bream and the odd jewy

Another lil tip (just personally like it) with your beer batter do 3cups of flour get a can of craft fruity beer (use to your desired consistency) lil bit of salt .. go dry flour egg wash dry flour beer batter will make it heaps fluffy and crispy … but def looks awesome man good work .. I’ve yet to catch an EP there I used to get heaps on the central coast round the entrance and toukley and such

@@n3outdoor not a drama man good luck and tight lines .. that corner tends to always hold good flattys or if you have a boat or a yak chuck some vibes around the 6 silos near the tug boat bay in the main river newy harbour
