To those who are trying to insult AOC for being a previous bartender (Job that she took to help her mother after college) let me tell you, THAT Bartender has a Double Major on International Relations AND Economics from the Boston university. At the age of 20 she’s was already doing her internship at Ted Kennedy’s office (JFK brother and second most senior member of the senate with 47 years of service to the United States of America). Let’s not forget either that while she was a Bartender, helping her mom, she was an activist for the people!!
But then we had Lauren Boebert (36 years of age) a MCDONALDS worker (Not that there is something wrong with working at McDonalds but this is for the people saying that AOC is just a Bartender). Who got her GED before running for congress in 2020, also had to take the tests not one but THREE times to pass them. But let’s not mention her criminal record: she has been arrested TWO times for breaking the law, and had a tendency for not going to her court citations. Oh and Btw her Husband Pleaded GUILTY for molesting A MINOR.

@Katie G I recall it was an anime or meme of AOT. Meme culture has been around where even athletes done the same against their opponents after winning. Its inappropriate at the congress level to do such. Did the guy actually come for her life in real life? No. Is the meme appropriate in congress, no. Also, the person who supports abortion and wants to encourage women to control their own bodies to kill a fetus is not a meme but a threat to life. Rape or endanger to death of the mother would be the only cases of abortion. But saying to everyone it's ok if you got pregnant and decide to end it without taking responsibility in a consensual relationship without thinking about it is ridiculous.
@Katie G also, why is it democrats can't step up on illegal immigration? Why is it they get sent to their state by abbot and all of a sudden, they don't like it. Their states are designated as safe havens, but when immigrants come in from the border, they point fingers. Texas paid for it, now NY will pay for it. Democrats are far from perfect, including republicans. Yet, no one wants to own up the responsibility in this category we see on the news quite often. Republican states had to bear the grunt of this, not democrat states.
