Right well this video actually stopped my breathing in normal frequency. I had a 68 and 67 back in early 90s. The 68 had the sycromesh gear box, What a trip that was.
Awesome. Say, could you explain a few things/answer a few questions please? *1* Why is it some VW have the rear tires/wheels have a large camber setting (proper terminology?), while others don't? Obviously they don't *HAVE* to be a huge angles like yours, right? *2* What's required to set them up like that? Different axles & parts, or a simple adjustment @ a tire shop? If it's really detailed, is it "major" surgery, or an inexpensive modification? *3* How many miles can you expect to get out of let's say a tire that has a 40k mile warranty if you set them like that? Does it wear out any other parts faster too, and are there parts subject to breaking more easily if you set it like that? *4* Is the ride a good bit stiffer, like simply lowering a car? Thx in advance!
Kman so early type 1’s had swing axles which don’t flex like irs on later bugs. So when they lower them the axles swing up automatically and cause the intense camber. Later models have a bit of a camber at full drop. You can check my 70 and 74 out on Instagram @kanddande
Narrowed front beam with either cut and turn or adjusters and maybe drop spindles. For the rear, notched spring plates turned up a couple notches on the torrison bars. Swingaxle cars allow the rear wheels to "swing" in an arc, changing the camber as it moves up and down. Lowering it tilts the top in, raising tilts the top out. IRS, independent rear suspension cars maintain the same wheel camber as it goes up and down.
@@donaldwoodcock832 How exactly do I look like I'm falling apart? I mean, you're more than welcome to take exception to my comment, but it's odd that you'd criticize the condition of my body without knowing anything about me. I'm actually doing very well, however - I eat right, lift weights, ride bikes, jog, etc. I still have no idea why anyone thinks this style is anything but butt-ugly. But hey - that's my ducking opinion, right?

Sehr geiler käfer. Hut ab an den Schöpfer. Was hat der käfer für eine Lackierung?
Wir denken original, instagram: @mike_blaablaa
I gotta know the size and dimensions of these wheels man! Did you pick those up from limebug? Get back to me asap.
How did you mount the flower vase on the speaker vent and where did you get the vase. Looking for one for my 63. Bad ride by the way!! 🤙🏼
Why use the brush ??
Power wash only and your car will remain shiny for life + wax. Avoid contact with your cars finish as much as possible.
Was wurde gemacht damit der so tief geht ? Kugelgelenkachse geht ja eigentlich nicht so tief
😍😍😍👍👍👍
Top
you need spacers on front. Very nice ride!!!
Na, the hard tuck is sexy AF...
Yehaaa is sexxxy👄. but with a spacer I assure you it looks better
Super like

17 or 18 ?
What wheels are those
Custom made 3 - piece wheels
🖒👌
😍👌
rim size
Why lowered? It looks very bad.
Tyre brush for a paint and washing a car in full sunlight... why...
Glad someone else caught this, just scratching the shit out of that paint. would have been better off leaving it dirty.
Yeeaah phonk...
Too low to even be drivable .
How's the ride quality?
Rattles out your fillings i'm sure. lol.
Richtig schicker käfer,.. wahnsinn,... danke für die tollen Bilder,.. gruß 1timefav.blogspot.de
Your Back Tires look RE-TARED!
Why would anyone modify a vehicle to the point that it looks like it's about to fall apart? The thing looks ridiculous!
Duck you punk. You look like you're falling apart. Don't speak unless you're spoken to next time, punk ass.

Calm down envious, you don't need to die of envy, don't stick it in your ass
was perfect,untill u saw seat tear :P
Speedo needs to be fixed
very sexual the way he washes his bug....
I would rather wax my car then washing it with water
Does anyone else think these very low VW's, with outrageous rear camber just look plain silly?
Fk you, get some old school Style, Silly... Either ur a woman or ur just flaming,Silly 😂 LMMFAO
Like the wheels, but the stance is crap, and your hat is on backwoords. At least your pants were pulled up.
