Nice lesson! I use to do that first accent rhythm exercise in drumline in high school. It's definitely awesome to apply it to guitar. I also love zappa and love zombie woof. So many cool ideas to explore
Yes! Thanks for the kind word! Actually I used to do the same. (I played quads in our high school drumline 😉) The pick action can also be practiced as rudiments if you want to go that far with it. For instance a paradiddle could be practiced as a pick pattern going: down up down down, up down up up.
@@joshkguitar heck yeah dude, I'll try some of that. I've never really thought of it like that but that's a sweet thing to explore. I've been lookin to spice up my rhythm playin and I think thats just the tool to do it. It might be cool to go into flams too with some hybrid picking or that fancy tosin abasi selective picking. Thanks for the inspiration dude!🤘
Thanks. I'm toying with putting the effort in to learn a guitar-only version (as in, I don't currently have a band) and would welcome more parts / sections. All the best to you and yours.
Thanks for your comment and for watching! I'll try and do a follow up with some more tips soon! Guitar arranging in itself can be tricky, but I def have more to say on the matter....stay tuned! 😜
Look for my vids for part 2 and "how to arrange for guitar" those help out, and I think I learned how to get closer to the camera for part 2. Sorry just a guitar player, not a videographer so much 😉
Depends....how long did you watch? Beginning I'm just playing a skill that I feel players need to play it correctly. Then, we do actual notes of the song.
