Yeah, hahahaha even I can't understand the other dialects. There are different ethnic groups from different regions that's why there are many dialects in our country but Tagalog is the national language.
@efraim alfaro - Thanks. Sorry, my bad and I stand corrected. Yes, Filipino is the national language. For those who wonder, Filipino is a standardized form of Tagalog or based on it but not limited to it.

Soon as we get off our motorbike and try to head into the night markets you have young kids begging for money. Once we cleared showing ID to enter I found the place crowded and the stall to close together which made it like a sauna. Didn't see much food that excited me, and of course all the clothing wouldn't fit most Americans. The night market didn't do much for me personally.

A lot of the vendors there are muslims so i can guarantee there are a lot of Halal food. There will be signs if the food is halal, so dont worry. Plenty of food for everyone. Davao is good place for muslim bros and sis
