There are a lot of amazing vocalists out there who have great technique and ability. The thing that draws me to Lisa is the amount ot emotion and passion she puts into her performances. As you said she believes in every word she is singing and those who pay attention can feel every word. Of course how could someone not pay attention?
Thanks for the reaction. Mainly subscribed for One OkRock, then this miracle happened. 😆 Glad you recognized Yuki Kajiura's passion right away. She's been in the industry for close to 3 decades, considered up there with composer like Yoko Kanno and Hiroyuki Sawano amidst her peers, though she's comparably more reclusive, also her musical signature might seem boring to general public (opera, orchestral arrangement) and covers wildly varied genres, hence not so popular name in mainstream. When she decided to have project with someone though, they really gotta meet high standard. In 2007-2008, she held auditions all over the country and even to her own colleagues from past project for a movie series septology adaptation, just to form a quartet group (later reduced to a trio, named Kalafina. Disbanded in 2019). And recently, LiSA sets the bar even higher. Both of them have another collab song, From the Edge (also Demon Slayer ending theme), that one was supposedly LiSA's official inclusion to Kajiura's FictionJunction project too, but I don't think there's any publicly available live stage. Feel free to check them out, or really, any song sung by anyone that Kajiura made for them. Their live performance are always better, though the recording versions were already good. Barring genre preferences, can't go wrong with her lol
Thank you. I've been waiting for you to react this video. This is a magic performance. It is unbelievable that LiSA wanted to be a punk rock singer at the beginning of her career. But listening to this performance, we can understand that a part of her is still a punk rocker at heart.
Since this is also the second opening of Demon Slayer I want to recommend Demon Slayer to you. After watching a couple of your reactions I'm confident that you will love it!
This is truly an amazing duet. Two powerhouses. I highly recommend you check out miss Yuki's work as well! A big favorite of mine is "beautiful world" and "simple and clean"
Yuki Kajiura is a living legend. You should really look up her music. If you thought LiSA was in a lot of anime... There is a RUclips 'topic' thing dedicated to her here: ruclips.net/channel/UCH-6nujw1qBPOvqzFSKSMug I recommend starting at the Dot Hack Sign OSTs, and branching out from there. Canta Per Me from her FICTION album is great. ruclips.net/video/3II5pBTePLQ/видео.html
Always nice to see Kajiura in a more visible role, she's an incredible composer, lyricist and musician.

LiSA is the pinnacle of beautiful music. The First Take just looks like a crucible for singers and she goes up and says, "This place is mine"
