A lot of ghost stories contain tragic events that turn someone from into a ghost with unfinished business, driven by revenge. I always think these kind of stories are more sad than angry, though a little bit of both. That's what inspired this piece.
To record it I used my piano with damper, combined with digital pianos tuned ever so slightly different to create an eerie yet sad atmosphere. The viola and violin drive a melody which is repeated in canon in the choir and synthesizer. Finally I've used my brand new electric double bass by NS design to gradually increase a feeling of anger and revenge.
The themes in this song overlap a bit with 'After the blast' because the inspiration is similar

There is something about dark stories that appeals to us. Noises heard in a house once home to a murdered family. Tales of a mysterious creature spotted in the night.
