Glad to see that the Selomar Hotel has finally re-opened as Barceló Benidorm Beach. It lay empty with scaffolding around it for over 5 years. It looks really nice following the refurbishment.
To be fair, it is a bar, not an airport lounge. I have not been to any hotel where people nap or sleep in common areas. Imagine how it would be during peak season if people were sleeping there. I enjoyed your video though, lads.
Thanks Richard, We should have maybe said it differently it was more, just shutting there eyes, We have never come across this being an issue in a "Package" holiday hotel, as people would normally be waiting for bus transfers etc, We think they wanted people to buy a drink, but they had no lobby area really to sit and wait.
Hey! This room was a forward facing sea view, although at one part we visit a families room and they had the side sea view. The drink prices were reasonable for UK prices, but a little more expensive from the “Spain pricing”
Stayed here a couple of weeks ago. 4star stops on the ground floor. Our room had no free water or chocolates. What it did have was the previous occupants long hairs all over the room. And a terrible smell coming up through the sink. Our room was dirty, but bedding was clean. They did do a good breakfast. 👍 The rooftop pool was just above the temperature of ice!!
It is interesting people seem to have differing views of this hotel - we are back to Benidorm in September to a different hotel so will be able to compared
So did I hear correct? £222 euros for 2 nights? 55 euros each? And you have made a comment the toilet roll was thin😂 You had a sea view breakfast and dinner for 55 euros?
Hey! That’s correct, but this was “out of season” - during the summer peak it can go for over €200 a night, so it is only fair to do a comparison at that cost. As we summed up, for the price we paid it was okay!

This hotel was fab, although we did prefer the RH Royal! :)

The view is great 😃
This has to be the biggest benefit of this Hotel the view, we both found it 😍
Hi there , is this a side sea view.. I’m at the moment trying to work out the room basis ..
Also are the drink prices at the bar reasonable , TIA. 😊

Maybe linger a little longer on things. So we can see them properly.
Although enjoyed the video.
Thank You so much for the feedback, we have a hotel stay this weekend so will certainly take that feedback onboard!
