Those fire tornados turn every game I’m into the most cinematic thing ever, I keep seeing them when I go to exfil and I’m dodging those as well as the bugs
The meteor/Ice showers look amazing from afar as well, watching them light up and change the landscape.
The fire tornados always seem to engulf the extraction pad.

I played a match on the edge of the extraction point. And guess what?? The fire tornadoes stayed on the edge 🙄

Fire tornados, meteor showers, earthquakes, ion storms. There's tons.
Has anyone experienced Earthquakes on Automaton planets?
Because if not it's really likely they're caused by the Hive Lords moving underneath the surface of Terminid planets

I'm a little worried they had a year's worth of updates in the can and the players are blowing through them way faster than intended. Eventually they will run out and there will be a big gap without substantial new content.

My God, the scenery, the lighting, the moment to moment gameplay... I just love this game and the team at Arrowhead. Bought the 2nd battle pass just from playing the game but I decided to buy a buddy a copy of H2 just to support the devs

The panic near the end of the first mission was amazing. Jack, standing in floodlight: OH MY GOD WHY AM I GLOWING. Stod, continuously referring to chargers as 'crashers'. Clutch spears, fire tornadoes.. This game man. Glorious.

I bought it the day they added mechs, so one of my very first games ended with the extraction point using three mechs and I was so lost but already knew ima love this game.

Was playing last night on Hellmire and i must say it is by far the coolest and most cinematic planet weve gotten to play so far, even in space and dropping down its so insane looking. The fire tornados only made it better

Thanks to Arrowhead. They may be under Sony, but it's just as much a PC game as it is a PS game.
It released simultaneously on both platforms. It runs and plays better on PC anyway.
Kind of Ironic that the best "Playstation" game is actually multiplat.
@@P.W.R. Steam also has the majority of the playerbase funnily enough. Either way we gotta give massive props to sony aswell, without them they'd still be struggling to get/keep servers up

A tip: Energy weapons overheat faster when used on hot planets like Erata. They become boosted on cold/winter planets.

I'm pretty sure it's just the cooldown timer that's affected by the heat/cold, not the speed of overheating.
@@LethalOwl it does say they'll overheat faster, but I've not seen anyone testing it yet?
@@omallezo If I get around to testing it and remember it, I might come back and let you know. In any case, just don't bring LAS weapons to hot planets in the first place and we'll all be fine.
So lore wise, super earth uses the bugs bile and blood as a very convenient fuel source for their FTL (Faster Than Light) drives in the super destroyers. Hope this helps ✌️

or when you get through an entire mission, just to have a fire tornado storm break out at the extraction point and you cant board the shuttle :D

I'd love to see more incendiary weapons. Like a flamethrower guard dog, or the ability to change the fire mode on the current flamethrower stratagem - the regular flame stream and maybe a blue flame that does more damage but a tighter spread and used fuel quicker (for destroying bug holes and big bugs)
