This song moved me to tears. It is so beautiful.
I don't like most contemporary Christian music; Matt Maher is a rare exception. Great songwriting, he keeps it lyrically simple yet profound, often without quoting the Bible directly. His version of Lord I Need You hits me deep, and I haven't attended church in years. Music itself is a powerful thing, and Matt clearly has God's grace when it comes to writing inspirational songs.

Greatest hymn of Advent season
Emmanuel is my favorite Christmas song and I like your version a lot! I heard a young woman do this song acapella one Christmas eve and it was so beautiful it has stuck with me for years.
It is an Advent song, not a Christmas song, that would be kind of weird for a song that is awaiting the birth of the Lord.
