This band is in serious need of attention from the world! How can a freaking-ly great band this gets unnoticed?
Seriously though, Lzzy's got a crazy scream. I love it.
It's cool going back to these videos after listening to the album, and recognizing all the songs that they're working on.
I love how they posted a 'Making of' vid while they are making it instead of posting it after the album is completely done and pretty much out. Not to mention, it's not like 2 minutes long.
I really don't think you understand how emotionally distraught that ballad has me at right now. I'm in love.

Really glad Lzzy isn't holding back on the recordings this time around, I always felt like the albums didn't capture the feel and raw energy of the band. This is great so far, really inspiring.
Can I just say, I love how real this was. I mean, you guys are amazing people who rock faces every day, but you're also...kinda... adorable? Like, you just seem to have so much fun recording, even when you're really tired, and it shows how much you care about what you do. There's sadly a large amount of people in the world who can't say that, in both the music industry and elsewhere. That genuine emotion shows in the music you guys make and is one of the reasons I love you guys so much. So thanks for kicking ass in everything you do!
Lzzy, AreJay, Joe & Josh, you guys remain my favorite hard rock band working today, with Green Day a close second. What you four have over the bigger names is the desire to keep it real, even as you grow as a group. AreJay's astounding growth as a drummer has been amazing and heartwarming to watch and enjoy. Mrs. Hyde came out in the middle of my year-long struggle with cancer and it became my personal anthem, particularly 'Here's to Us'.
When I got to hang out with you at Pierre's in January of '11 you all were just as warm, open and friendly as you come across in all your videos and interviews. I still have and cherish the CD you all four signed and AreJay's last stick from that show that he kindly signed for me ;)
Your efforts continue to touch and move people across age and culture. Your future is unlimited and you guys letting us enjoy the process behind your creativity and production is yet another hallmark of your authenticity as one of the great hard rock bands working today. Just from the way you guys are letting us be flies on the wall while you create, I can tell this next album will be worthy of your other efforts to date; I can't wait to hear the finished product!
I can only speak for myself, but Halestorm has measurably improved my life, given me strength and inspiration when I needed it most, and I know will continue to be a huge part of my musical life as time goes forward. I don't wish you success, I anticipate reveling in it, as we all continue this journey known as life.
I hope to have the fortune to see you again live, playing the very songs you're developing right now. With God's blessing, I'll be there if you stop at Pierre's on the tour for the new album ;)

I've never been more excited for an album. There's just no words...
I'm a drummer and I played Mayhem a few times for fun... I can see why RJ loves playing that song. It's quite fast though, so I still need practicing to play it the best way I can.
Can't wait to hold Into The Wild Life in my hands...
My favourite way to record an album is like that, all free and jamming at the same time. I can't get a good feel or vibe when it's just me in a booth and I totally need to feed off the rest of the guys energies to get a good performance. I can't wait for this album, sounds like it's going to be killer!
Anybody else getting the vibe that Lzzy might be in love with Joe? From here and other Halestorm videos like the one where Joe gave an acoustic tutorial for Here's To Us.

I honestly cannot wait, I have been a fan ever since the release of your first album and I love seeing all the newer fans get in board with what you guys bring to the rock community! Having met you all and seen you play live twice I honestly cannot wait to hear the energy of this album! Everyone should get ready to pre-order it, it's gonna me mind blowing and I love reading the comments of who is new to the band and who has loved them for years, it's so great being able to see that and have followed that for years in my favourite band, I love you guys and all the other fans too!
Good feeling from this about #3. Some of the riffs sound good, the piano piece sampled sounds inspired, I like Joe being tested on solo's as his work on this record is particularly key to 3's greatness. (and good "Spinal Tap" ref Joe, ha)
Yeah this is just what the band needed, this studio, this producer, their gear, and no uber-gloss-production. All sounding very promising!
My husband and I recently saw you for the first time this summer and holy shit! We were originally there for the band you were opening for and we were just blown away by your performance. You made 2 new hard core fans on August 28th. :P Can't wait for your new master piece and to come and see you again on your next tour through Michigan.

It was nice to hear Lzzy admit that they used at technology as a way to save time and speed up the process. She also realized that it sucked the life out of the song/music and at the end of the day it wasn't a band performance it was the computer & the producers performance. Play it live and loud!! Zepplin did!!! Keep killin it!!!

Come to Australia
Well it's been about a year to a year-and-a-half since I started looking for female fronted bands since I was starting a band and the first vocalist I found was female. I think it's a good thing I found Halestorm. Great music, great vibe, and just really neat all around. I can't wait to see them live (I'm hoping to make it to one of the Nov 16th-ish shows).
I'm glad to hear that Pro tools is what is standard in the industry (I just started my recording section of my schooling and that's what we're using. I don't know if I'll ever make it big (I may end up just being a studio artist if I can't get a full band together) and even if I don't I think I'd rather be in it for fun like Halestorm is, after all that's what music is about right? Going out, having fun and just jamming?
I hope you guys keep up the good work and keep rocking.
They're so amazing live. Even if Lzzy's voice gets tired it doesn't matter because it just adds to the gritty awesome sound of her vocals and screams. RJ Hale is amazing on drums and usually he'll do a solo that will blow your mind. You'll enjoy them a lot :D
Yeah, I would love to hear them live, I just wish I knew I would have all the money I would need... That's one of the main reasons I've not been able to get to any major concerts.
I actually watched them perform at a local festival and it was free, others got access to spots near the stage for like $50 USD. Even if it's not a major concert I'd say still try to find opportunities like these because they're awesome other way.
I meant big band major concert. I helped move a friends band into a local (all ages) bar and watched the bands there. All local stuff, (I hope they make it) but I've yet to see a band of Halestorm's popularity, and I can't wait.
