volvo vnl 5th wheel not locking

this is on a 2015 Volvo vnl driver called saying 5th wheel would not lock. just need to tap to help the spring return the locks

Thank you for this video! Just got assigned a 2020 international and neither the 5th wheels unlock and 5th wheel slide buttons work and was hooking up to this trailer notice the 5th wheel slid after I gave it a tug test and used this method to get the 5th locked again. Thank you!

How to lube it right so the teeth push out, it's a PITA to line it up with one person. Get out 20 times, then when the teeth are flush, to hit it with a hammer.

For us we found it better. To help keep less weight on the steer tires they last longer
