I cannot believe that you have to disassemble the whole machine to just replace a trivial mechanical part as fan. This is how dell creates its faithful clients who have to throw their laptop away when the fan breaks. A scandal.

And if you happen to find the way to do this I suspect the costs involved would easily be more than the laptop is worth and probably as much as a new/used laptop with equivalent graphics abilities. if I'm not mistaken it has an Ivy Bridge i7 inside of it (4 cores!!!) So it's not a slouch... I wonder if it can run Cities Skylines
well this is old video i know but i want to tell you that that CPU is de-attachable you can simply plug that out and just clean that old thermal paste
